Towing hooks?

Anyone with a Do luck front are these still accessable or may as well be removed from the car?

Equally a trial rear is the towing hook still useable?

Not sure whether to remove these before kit goes on i'm just thinking if you have to be pulled out of gravel/crash barrier etc?

Thanks

Not sure on the trial rear but the border rear has a cut out for the rear hook

as for the front I am fitting one of these

Wouldn't it be illegal to have one of these hooks poking out from your bumper as its a danger to pedestrians...?

And can you get it in any other colour than red...?

dont think so some cars like the exige and the 911 GTR-R-R-R light weight all stripped out for an extra £25k thingy has one.

Plus Jamie P's passed the MOT etc

rekon its, lining up where the hook comes out, drill a few big holes in the centre point, then use a blade to trim a nice clean shape, smooth the rough edges and thats it...

I know a lot of people have trial rears anyone want to see if the towing hook is still useable? ;)

It isnt

I brought one from driftworks that bolted onto my chasis leg and simply had the bodyshop trim my bumper, turned out to be very handy with diff breakages :D
