downimpact
Anyone with a Do luck front are these still accessable or may as well be removed from the car? Equally a trial rear is the towing hook still useable? Not sure whether to remove these before kit goes on i'm just thinking if you have to be pulled out of gravel/crash barrier etc? Thanks
RobSheffield
Removed the 2 front and one rear from mine....saved about 5 kilos in total
downimpact
yeah that was another benefit i could see. Just found a thread looks like the front are redundant with a Do luck
CarlT67
Yea I have also had to remove all mine due to my kit, kind of worried if it ever comes to needing to put my supra onto a flat bed via the winch, as it ain't gonna happen
Daston
Not sure on the trial rear but the border rear has a cut out for the rear hook as for the front I am fitting one of these http://www.driftworks.com/catalog/products/universal-heavy-duty-tow-hook.html

And can you get it in any other colour than red...?
captainchaos
lmfao how much are you paying for that hook
tooquicktostop
They are very useful to have if you breakdown on the drag strip as they like to tow you off and if your aftermarket bumper covers the stock tow hook you are buggered

JamieP
I brought one from driftworks that bolted onto my chasis leg and simply had the bodyshop trim my bumper, turned out to be very handy with diff breakages

CarlT67
How difficult is it to cut and paint a fibre glass bumper to get a finish like Jamiep's old car...?
Guest CoolsBlue
rekon its, lining up where the hook comes out, drill a few big holes in the centre point, then use a blade to trim a nice clean shape, smooth the rough edges and thats it...
kosmic
i welded and bolted a race tow eye like jamiep's onto my original tow hook so it protuded through my Do-Luck bumper.
