Guest MaTTi
I just bought a new 6 speed that goes to 1.1-1.2 bars on the gauge when pushed, 0.6 when first one comes in. So compared to my previous auto GZ that did 1.0 bars ONLY, this new one i so much slower, alteast it feels like it. On my GZ i could feel when the second turbo came in, it pushed me back into the seat, but this one it just goes fast forward, no kick/push at all, its like driving with a compressor insted of a turbo if you know what i mean. The GZ had hybrids but still it was 1.0 bars on the gauge, this one goes to 1.2 and feels slower, so what could be wrong ? Modds are uprated fuelpump, spark plugs,BOV,Fulldecat and airfilter nothing more.
mikeyb10supra
Only thing I can thing of is it in TTC mode??
Thorin
So hybrids give stronger kick than standard j-spec ceramics... you seem surprised somehow? I'm sure a T88 at only 0.8 bar would give an even bigger kick.
Guest MaTTi
I did not know that it was supposed to be so much diffrence between hybrids and stock ones, even though the hybrids are set to lower output. Im pretty sure its not supposed to be like this, seriosly, no kick at all at 1.2 bars ? Its supposed to be much diffrence between 1 bar and 1.2 Whats TTC mode, Traction Controll ? Guest MaTTi
Isnt that TTC supposed to make both turbos come in at once ? Since it first goes to 0.6 and then to 1.2 then i guess no, its stock conversion.
Chris Wilson
You are confusing boost pressure over atmospheric with air volume / density, you are not comparing like to like.
