Screen washers

1) yes

2) press the button on the end, don't pull the stalk towards you.

No offense intended, but I am pressing the button on the end - if I wasn't, surely the rear washer wouldn't be working ?

Does anyone know exactly where the motor is situated, and do you need to remove the inner wing liner to get to it ?

Goddamn it the one time I pile in with the "usual" solution, that's not the problem :) I give up answering questions on the windscreen washers.

I read your previous answer before I posted actually - though you did help - I was thinking both washers worked off the same button.

Found out what it was - someones wired them up the wrong way - press the button on the end & the rear one works - twist the stalk clockwise & the front ones work - must be wired wrong at the motor end I guess

gonna say, the rear one doesent work on the button, only the fronts

They are not wired wrong its that the tubes are connected wrong at the pump.you have to undo the plastic on the inner wing (nearside) and then you can just swap them around

Yep, that's what I think is the likely cause, must have happened while the car was in the bodyshop...
