Guest Randall raines
Hi everybody ! I would know if someone could help me about the stock ECU of the supra 2JZGTE engine. Wez
What are you trying to do? Are you trying to alter the stock fuel and ignition maps?
Guest Randall raines
yes, I make research to altering the revlimiter, speed limiter if it is, change boost pressure, etc... In order to produce more power (not big power) without buying another ECU. And I would know where I could find these address. Not a binary file, just these address to make one
Wez
Mines and Toms use to offer modified stock ECUs but there is very little information on them.

Guest Randall raines
I refer to Hex address of fuel map, ignition timing map, rev limiter and boost map (I think there is one on the Supra ecu)
Alex
The ECU's are NOT directly remappable.

Guest Randall raines
Thank you for your answer Nic, why the Supra ECU cannot be remapple ?
Wez
why the Supra ECU cannot be remapple ? As far as we are aware there is no way to send and receive data, you could if feeling that way inclined remove the flash/rom from the ECU and investigate on a PC. For the cost of a EMU, AEM or LINK is it worth all the hassle
Guest Randall raines
My english is not perfect so, I think I understand what you are saying but, I have ever got tools for chip tuning due to my job. So that's why, I was thinking that someone could give me an link to find the Toyota ecu Address to remap the eprom or EEprom (I think it is) in the ECU. If it is possible to remap. You know much than me on this subject cause you know the car much better than me !
Tricky-Ricky
I think the problem is that the std ECU chip is a write once only, so yes with the right tools you would be able to read it but you then face getting a rewritable chip that is compatible.
