Really? :blink:The elements are thinner than a human hair and almost invisible to the naked eye so that they don't distract a drivers vision so you must have x-ray eyes if you could see them!

The laser eye surgery must've worked even better than I thought then lol!

It adds a kind of haze to your view I think, stick the aircon on and blast the screen for a few minutes, does the job, it would be handy but I think it would bug me. I need to get a new screen anyway as got far too many stone chips, got to see if it's bad enough to get done on the insurance...

nice idea though

Ford did have exclusive automobile applications use but only for the first 2 years back in 1986! Back then you could have them on most models and top line ranges usually got then as standard.

Range Rovers,Caterhams,Marcos have them fitted as OE and there is a guy who makes them for quite a few other makes too such as Scimitars,Minis,Evos and such cars as MK1 Cortinas and Mk2 Escorts! but he's never listed Supras on his list.

The patent must be sold on now or something as you can buy them for the old Vee dubs now. I'm sure its around £200 + VAT for a bug windscreen so Pauls price looks really good for the size of it.

I did'nt think any car manufacturers outside the Ford group offered it this, aftermarket is a different thing all together. I've been in several mondeos & could see the elements did'nt bother me though, i think newer ones may well be finer now, however i think this is a great mod.
