Ian C Posted February 13, 2008 Share Posted February 13, 2008 I've only heard of one getrag breaking on this forum, think it was Ian C? Maybe it isn't even the gearbox thats broken? That was really more my fault than the gearbox's I got 5th instead of 3rd on a drag run, which wouldn't have been so bad if I also hadn't fumbled the clutch as well - the synchro ring was suddenly trying to slow the engine from 6500rpm down to 2500rpm with predictable results...
