You forget the Americans like her husband and they see her as cut from the same cloth. As for Bush, I don't like him that much but he is hardly the 1st US president to become involved in a war and in many respects perhaps they should have finished the job correctly the 1st time around. Class One
It's strange that everyone here is assuming that it is going to be a Democrat victory. Does everyone think that is a forgone conclusion? If anything I think the Democrats have shot themselves in the foot by fielding candidates that have taken the focus away from the actual discussion. Notice how that the discussion is only about Hillary or Obama, not what their policies are? Shouldn't their policies be near enough the same anyway seeing as they're both in the same political party and there fore should be singing from the same hymn sheet? The Democrats have lost focus by turning their selection into whether their candidate should be a black man or a woman, not who is the best candidate Whereas the Rupublicans have a strong Presidential candidate, ex Vietnam PoW, a less aggressive foreign policy, wants to see a proper and dignified withdrawl from Iraq, wants to tackle domestic issues. The Republicans are concentrating on policy and not turning it into a circus like the Democrats are. BTW I have no leanings towards any of the candidates or parties and infact, I find the media obession in this country of the USA's Presidential selection process, quite frankly staggering. I thought it was a for gone conclusion who the Republican was going to be and thus they didn't need to speak out at this point. Am I right in thinking that the 2 parties are not going head to head at the moment anyway?
