Al Massey
fair play to him, work load goes down since everyone has to go outside for smoke breaks. when we went to france to celebrate our battle honour it was great smoking in pubs and clubs but i don admit got a bit annoying in small pubs so i went outside anyway
SMiFFAD
First reaction was "oh my lord thats appauling" But having thoguht about it, its just normal life without all the PC rubbish we have rammed down our throats in this pittiful country. If a boss doesnt like you or something you do... he fires you, quite fair really. Just because you can sue them foer their first born child over here doesnt make it wrong. dangerous brain
Difference is I guess you can choose your area of employment. If the majority smoke which in Europe they do then you put up or move on. I hate smoke so I wouldn't personally take a job where 7 from 10 were chronic smokers. Darren-K
Yeh im a non smoker but i would never try and enforce my non smoking view on anyone, and if i was a minority in the work place and didnt like it,i would either shut up or leave. I agree wth this guy to fire the non smokers, serves them right.
Chris Wilson
I had someone from the Council round the other week, asking a load of dumbass questions about some survey or other. When I lit up the old trout had the nerve to ask me not to smoke, she found it disgusting. I think I broke my record set with the Jehovas Witnesses in having the bint down the drive and on her way She said she'd never been so insulted in all her life, my language was appalling and my attitude Dickensian. I told her she obviously didn't get out enough. The German guy gets my vote for PM

Chris Wilson
I have just about come to accept being ostracised into a damp hut to smoke at the pub, like the whipped cur PC Correctness has made me, but I will be damned if I will be told by some bureaucrat who comes uninvited to my house what I should do with my smoking habit in my own lounge
