Dragonball
Moving soon and need to purchase a wall bracket for the 42" TV - as my better half assures me it is NOT going over the fireplace! This one needs to swivel out 90 degrees and slightly down (15 degrees?) Seen the ones on ebay - but they dont fill me with confidence as this thing has to be 40kgs(?) Anyone got one fitted? Recommend please? Cheers
steb9780
They do the big Omnimount ones in Currys etc. I don't have one but I went and hung off one. It's very solid, but it should be for the best part of £300.

Kev.O
Here's the one I got. My plasma must be atleast 40kg and this is fine. The only thing is it doesn't turn around 90 degrees. TBH I think you'll have a hard job finding a decent one that will turn that much as they seem to have a double arm which hinders turning it that much. I bought mine from John Lewis which cost £299 so the price on that link is a very good price. HTH
dini_the_owl
im an av engineer and we always unicol brackets for our plasma/lcd brackets, i can probably beat that price through work, all unicol ones are made for each machine so fitment is perfect and they hold a ton of weight.they are very close fit to the wall and cannot swivel or lower as they are a fixed bracket unless you plan to hang it from the ceiling on a pole. fixed unicol is definately the best option. if you want me to price one up drop me a pm with your make, model and size etc.
