bodilx6
has anyone done some valid testing as to which tyres (summer) are the best on the soop for normal road driving? That would be a sticky enough for a good set-off but also last reasonably well. I'm not looking so much for personal opinions unless based on experienses with testing/use of different brands. How about some good reviews or comparisons in the press or on the web. Have you guys come by any valid and recent tests of tyres in the size supra owners usually runs (18", 245/xx - 275/xx)? Most tests I've been able to find has been for "normal" cars in 15"-16" up to max 215 in width, which really isn't that relevant for us. Gaz6002
So you are looking for an impartial car specific review of all major brands? Tall order? I thought just putting rubbish rubber on would be the best bet? (memory like an elephant, me.)
bodilx6
So you are looking for an impartial car specific review of all major brands? Tall order? Hehe, well that would be the optimal, but just whatever that can be found written by an impatial, credible source. You know the tests you always find in the monthly magazines. Something like this, just with tyres being in Supra Size. I'm running 225/245, but the tests always end at 215 or so.
