Grazer Posted January 4, 2005 Share Posted January 4, 2005 I'm trying to burn all my files so I can re-install my OS, but somethings going wrong with burning the discs. I've used the same method before with no probs, namely, using Nero burning data onto a 4.7GB DVD-RW - but now it keeps timing out and crashing. I've tried different discs but the same thing happens - anyone got any ideas? Software (Nero) issue or DVD writer issue?? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Pete Posted January 4, 2005 Share Posted January 4, 2005 What is exactly crashing? Nero freezes? Upgraded to latest version of Nero? If not, then try... if so then maybe that's the problem? The drive should have buffer underrun so that shouldn't be a problem, does it die before even starting to write to disc? Same thing on RW discs too?
