miko_supra
ok i've got everything on now except for the exhaust (no exhaust what so ever, not even the 1st cat) and intercooler, which im still waiting for from jezz. do you reckon it will be safe to start it up for 10 seconds to check that its running ok (not missfiring, actually starts etc...) Ric
i wouldnt without a intercooler (joint from turbos to intake)
jim_supra
I think it would be safe, just don't run it for long. It might be an idea to have some sort of filter covering the inlet manifold, like gauze or tights or the like. But make sure it's not running for long, and don't rev it. Mr. Fish
im not totally sure, but i have seen a supra drag car with no intercooler, i.e straight out of the turbo and back into the intake.......and it didnt break....
jim_supra
ok cool. i'll give this a go later on cheers The reason I say it would be safe is because I did the same with mine, and I've also driven the car for a short while with one of the intercooler pipes off as it popped off while I was driving.
