Is this possible with Paypal?

A member on here is selling something I would really like but my only source of funds at this time of the year is my credit card. For obvious reasons i cant take a large amount of cash out because ill get charged alot.

 

Will Paypal transfer the money from my credit card to my account, so that i can then transfer the money to the seller?

 

Or

 

Is there any other way to use the card with a private seller?

cant you just add the credit card to your paypals paying options?

Paypal will almost certainly mess you around but if you have the card attached to your account you can just send the money to someone elses paypal. Make sure it's the card and not just your account that is attached or they'll send an E-Cheque that takes over a week to clear. I found this out the hard way and got charged twice for my PDA just before christmas

The seller should be able to email you a payment link which will allow you to just pay with your credit card. It basically gives the seller the facility to accept credit cards.

 

However.. this may only apply to paypal business accounts.

You can pay on your credit card if the card is linked to your account. However the seler has to pay a fee to receieve the money (3%+) so it might work out cheaper you withdrawning the money from the card (if the seller wants you to pay the fees)
