how can a car have its own wax has it got special paint?? as far as i know cars are painted in two pack or two pack solid colour.ok as of late there is the addition of aqua base but they still use two pack top coat, why would you need a special wax?????? (still ranting)

its wax, i still don't reckon there are certain waxes for clear coats or solid colours! if anyone can prove me wrong please do, i'm a painter by trade and the quality of it depends on your pocket not on if your car has clearcoat or solid colour? i may be wrong i usualy am but i can't see what difference it would make as wax only sits on top of your paintwork! please feel free to salte me into the ground as i probably need it :-)

sounds silly but is there a reset button on the side? i had this with and old lap top that a friend had and he was told the hdd was dead. but i pressed and held the button in for a while and all was well?? probably not that as you have had the thing to bits already.

need to paint the window and door lock switch holder. do you have to take the door panel off or can you do it without???? any pics or advice would be most helpfull

right this is what it was!!!!!!!! my bloody dimmer switch and all i had to do to sort it was link a wire from the middle live to the earth on the right as you look at the connector and hey presto all ok. thanks to all of your input and i hope this can help someone else out

have you had or has the car ever been steam cleaned as this can competely ruin the siren???

checked fuses and dimmer switch was plugged in,,, but is there a way to bypass the dimmer cos not fussed about dimming the lights always have it on full?

well thanks for the input any idea what it could be are you gonna just take the p**s and i painted the dash not the bulbs but it could be a good excuse why i have no dash lights

has the siren been turned off and have you got a key for your alarm if you have then find the siren and see if the key fits! also just find the siren and see if there is a key slot in the back.

hi all, just painted me dash and went to put it back in.got it back together and no panel lights or dail lights? when you turn the switch all the air con lights dim as they should and evrything works just no lights,also when i turn the switch the odo goes out but when i turn lights off it comes back on. all i have done is take the dash out and paint it and put it back???? i have checked all the fuses i can find and all is well. i also have power to the dimmer as i thought it might be that. PLEASE HELP

to remove the fag lighter you have to push the metal inside out by twisting and pushing, don't be scared it will come out and then all the rest just falls out! also i've found the best thing for doing your dash silver without the glare. it is called five wheel silver, available from all good motor factors i have just done mine and it looks the nuts and all with some celly primer and 800grit paper for prepping then make sure the temp is right and off you go with an aerosol believe it or not. the best thing for removing the rubber stuff is 120 grit and then a quick rub with 500grit wet. prime and flat with 800 mine looks good and wil put pics up when done!!!!!!!!!!
