I'm 24 with 4yrs no claims and paying £700 for fully comp on a Jap TT with elephant. But then I do live in the sticks.

Have you changed the bulbs anyway? If it's the bulb, hazards will still flash ok and indicator will only flash too fast when turn signal put on.

Have heard good reports about road angel 2 although don't think you can get cheap lifetime membership (for fixed camera updates) like road angel 1 so could get pricy. Best to fit jammer too but they are illegal unless you've got an automatic garage door setup to justify having one!!

What's the deal with the thor delimiter and the odometer? Will it start counting up in miles as soon as its fitted coz guy in Edinburgh wants £300 to clock my odo back to the equivalent in miles!! Can you miss out wiring it to the odo so it continues to read in kms instead of half and half?

Yeah looked at a good few and some did have various aftermarket ECU's fitted but was reflected in their prices!!

Hi Kev, I've just picked up a 95 jap import TT with only 36,000miles for £8500 thats in really good nick which I though was pretty good. Bear in mind if you get a fresh import it may not have been undersealed so you'll need to spray the bottom of the car with waxoyl or similar (a job I'll be starting later tonight!!) and it'll be mapped to run on 100+ octane fuel (decent dealers could have sorted this out though). P.S. My mates got a 290bhp WRX Type R Version 5 and it doesn't feel any quicker than my car! Steve

Hi everyone, I've just bought an Import Supra and have fitted a kph-mph/delimiter chip to the back of the speedo. It works fine except under hard accelaration when the speedo needle flicks up and down a lot. Once I settle on a speed it reads ok again. I've also noticed that it flicks about when you press the windscreen wash buttons etc when the ignition is on but the engine isn't started yet. All the connections are secure enough at the back. Any ideas?!
