  1. (sorry posted in supra chat accidently) Just disconected my Blitz BOV (BOV not working properly) which was set up next to the throttle body also still had the stock bov in its original place aswell. now when i back off the throttle to change gear i hear a flutter whereas before i used to hear the BOV which is now disconnected. Is there something wrong? the car is stock with dragger exhaust? does anyone else get this noise with standard set up? car will be going down to Paule E's for service on thursday. but in the mean time am i ok to drive the car?

  3. no its still in play, but its stock so i cant hear out for it to go wooosh!
  4. power is all there, just had Paul E look at (top man) thinks that it may just be the BOV playing up, also still have the stock BOV on the turbo side of the engine!
  5. just found a problem with the car which seems major! when i accelerate hard enough to hear for the BOV (blitz) i dont hear it anymore all i hear is a flutter. at close inspection i popeed the hood and then revved the car to hear for the BOV again all i hear was this flutter which seems to be coming out of the large pipe which has a large rubber sleeve over it on the left side of the eninge (turbo side) whichi think goes down near to the intercooler. when i left the car for a bit and played around the pipe, it seemed to be ok again, when i test drove it agian...same thing happened. i did the same above and found again that the BOV was not going off, and that i could hear this flutter instaed when backing off the gas. please anybody shed some light. sholuld i drive the car at all?
  6. Is it any good, was thinking of switching to this!
  7. Should this light come on with the ignition? i ask this because mine does not come on at all? all the other lights come on, but this one does not.
  8. you may have raced a scooby aswell, was told this by the scooby driver! was it anyone on here?
  9. Ok i have just found out by the previous owner, that when the car came from japan, he had it serviced and used semi synthetic oil, now i want to change to fully synthetic 10w40, but i have heard that there might be a problem with switching oils, you might get sludge build up! how can i go about this change, should i flush the eninge first? if so should i use engine flush? or should i change with fully synthetic and then drain it all out and replace it with fully synthetic? any suggestions would be greatly apreciated. thanx
  10. Just read an article that was kindly posted by Tdraper, it states i quote " 1Jz and 2Jz engines run 0.48 bar and 0.62bar Maximum boost respectively as standard. But the general view on this forum is that the boost should 0.7 and then 0.8bar Maximum on stock setup! Which is correct?

  13. Just want to know if i can run my Supe (94 TT J Spec) on Normal unleaded petrol?, as i currently have no modifications, i.e stock boost! or will it effect the engine in terms of detonation? cheers guys!
  14. Lol nope! i have a silver manual TT want it to be black! cheek!
  15. Hello all, My car is stock standard, im looking to get a do luck nose, veil side side/spats/spoiler, so when i purchased the car i was not to bothered about the colour, just wanted it to be manual and in good condition. My dilema is, that i want to get my car sprayed black when i put the kit on, now should i sell the supe and pick up a black one or stick with what i have and get it sprayed. Im quite attached to the car, as its had a recent cambelt changed, nice healthy engine, new front discs and new tyres all the way round (recent problems sorted aswell, oil leak turned out to be a loose pipe going to the intercooler) its tempting to sell this but i dread getting another supe and worrying about possible problems with it. besides im happy with the way my current supe is running. so the burning question guys, what do i do sell and buy in black or stick with what i have and spray black! p.s how much would it cost for a respray?
  16. Nah just motorways, never seen a freeway.....can u drive cars without tax there...Hence FREEway?
  17. Just asked the seller a Q as follows, 'would you accept 6.5k cash, can transfer it in to your account or how ever you would like! If possible could you deliver the car to me?' Lol, waiting for his response!
