I have also had the following cars: 2nd car: Renault 19 (rear tyre blow out on a43 just south of silverstone buggered up my rear stub axel) 3rd car: Renault 19 (got written on in a head on collision when someone overtook and ended up on my side of the road - ouch!!!) reverted back to my 2nd car - which I gradually killed over about 45k miles in the space of 9 months 4th car: a hyundai accent MVI!! crap car, had it for 3 months 5th car: a hyundai coupe 2.0l se - fab car had it for almost 18months! it was yellow (my first taste of head turning!) 6th car: swapped my coupe for a polo!! WHY?? you had to drive everywhere in 2nd to get any accelleration - needless to say I had it for 4 months only 7th car: Ford Puma which I did really like but I then decided I wanted a Supra, but need to wait for those points to come off 8th car: Renault Laguna which I bought for less than 1k to save my pennies to buy a Supra (or an FTO!)

That's impressive Well, my first car was a 1990 Austin Metro Van (ex BT), which I sprayed half blue (to cover the rusty bits!), it only had 4 gears and a friend also switched the engine with a 1 litre engine from a fiesta. It was crap, let me tell you!! I remember a particular time when I attempted to overtake a lorry whilst going up a hill in Brighton, but the Lorry undertook me the little b@sterd! Te he But at the time I loved it dearly, I even named it Sid!!

Me too, I got told it will make your premiums cheaper for the first year anyway. Didn't for me - but then my first car was a van.

At the moment you can opt to do pass plus which teaches you motorway driving (amongst other things), but its not compulsory which is a shame.

I would pass the same law as well. Re-testing defo, anyone can pass their test once!! - when you pass your test, its great, but driving instructors have targets to achieve...... Otherwise how about a clause relating to speeding convictions, i'm thinking something like............ "if a driver is caught speeding at 3:30 in the morning doing 6 mph over the speed limit on a dual carriageway, when no one else is around does not warrant a £60 fine and 3 points........"

What I don't understand is the guy lives in Maidenhead, he must have noticed the vans out over christmas, they were there on many different occasions. Stupid boy, bring on that ban thats what I say, nothing short of what he deserves!!! They only good thing about him, is that he has a nice set of alloys on his car. :alien: :alien:

I can just about forgive the interior because we wont get to see it, but the boot, now that is just wrong!!! The rest is great. Fab colour
