I don't think £2,400 is bad considering. I know people older who had quotes double that.

No it wasn't too bad, looking back now anyway. It certainly helped me out. I was breaking even money in vs money out [including bills, rent, debts, petrol, food etc], so the £250 really got me out of it. 11 hours at £6/ph Good luck and lets us know how you get on.

Likewise If you are deadly serious I would first check out what vacancies are about, then I would check to see if they are willing to offer employment to you considering you are only probably planning on doing it temporarily. I tried Asda, and they wouldn't employ me [thank god]. I also applied to Sainsburies and I never heard back. But For the hours I did, I got an extra £250 a month roughly.

What would you prefer to do, supermarket or pub? I hated working back at the supermarket, people really patronise you, [or at least they did to me], but that maybe because it was Marlow and are all filthy rich. But the money wasn't too bad for what I was doing.

Have you thought about bar/pub work? Cash in hand mostly. Some companies don't like their employees to have a second job, and I had to argue with mine initially, just a thought to bear in mind I had a second job working at Waitrose, did monday evenings 5 - 7, and 8:15-6 on saturdays. It completely killed me. But it really helped me out during the 6 months I did it. I don't know of any recruitment agencies that specialise in 2nd jobs though, sorry Good luck, I'm sure it will work out. Edited to say that I also work Monday to Friday 9 to 5.

Yep definately. Will try and get there for between 11 and 12. May have to leave about 2ish though if I decide to go back for a second viewing at some houses I may buy. -

My ex house mate at Uni, who looked like the bad guy from MIB [see below] loved Eldurado, and in fact I think he had his own website dedicated to it. He used to go on holiday in spain and take lots of pictures of the set and show them to us. I never watched it so I can't comment.
