Im 22 with 5 yrs no claims but 3 points for going through amber light. The only place that would touch me was elephant. I got, for me and the missus (who has 3 points also) £1600 fully comp. Thought that was decent for an imported car. Would only have been 850 if it was UK. Gaz

Just recently bought a Meganracing de-cat downpipe and tried to have it fitted today. Was assured it would fit my car (and to be fair the guy has offered a refund) but found out today that it wouldnt. Its a little hard to explain without a picture but ill explain: Coming from back of car to engine the old pipe goes to the top cat then bends slightly to the left and then right so that the flat "face" of it (couldnt think of right term) is pointing slightly right as it attches to the turbo. Now the new one, cos it misses out the cat, doesnt have this "kink" in it and so is completely straight, with a slight left facing end. Obviously it wont therefore attach to the turbo. Im assuming it is because mine is a J-spec and the DP was made for UK/USA but was assured it would still fit. Has anyone else had a similar problem or can suggest something to correct this. If not can someone suggest where to get a J-spec decat 3" downpipe as soon as possible cos mines blowing like nothing else. My Soup is ready for a service was just wondering (being a bit of a newbie) if it was ok just to take it to my local garage for it or whether anyone would recommend taking it to a specialist performance car garage or something like that. If that's the case can anyone recommend any in the North West area (lancashire preferably). Doesnt say, they are new. Its says they would fit "most" jap cars but i thought id better check. The PCD is ok though isnt it? Is there any way i could modify so they would fit?

The sounds possible. Hopefully get new exhaust in next few weeks so will have to see if it sorts it. Any suggestions on which exhaust anyone. Been looking at HKS Supperdragger and Blitz NUR spec.

Its a HKS full system but dont know if the downpipe was changed (had exhaust on already when bought it). The blowing deffinately seems to be coming from the front of the car.

Hi, I recently bought an imported Supra TT 6spd and went like a rocket at first. Recently though ive noticed it is loosing power when accelerating. The turbo was running very comfortably at 0.9 BAR and nw it gets to 0.8 and "Sticks" as if something is blocking it. The exhaust is blowing from near the downpipe which is gettin sorted in next few weeks. Is it likely that this is the cause or could it be something else. Cheers
