I'm attempting to change the spark plugs on my NA, i've removed all of the securing nuts & bolts, connectors and most of the hoses, the throttle body now moves and is ready to be moved to one side but there a few smaller hoses that are stuck fast and won't budge, I have pulled them as much as I dare without damaging them. Can anyone tell me the best way to get them off without breaking them, please see below pic... A bit of advice would be appreciated - Thanks!

I once bought a set of side repeaters that looked like they would fit bit it wasn't until I tried to fit them I realised the connecters were different. Oh well, if they don't fit stick 'em back on eBay!

Theres a local guy I use for machining work, I'll fax him the drawings and get a price for him to cut panels out of 1.6mm thick aluminium, it will be much quicker as he has all the correct tools and access to cheaper materials etc. I'm sure I can do the bending bit myself. I'll let you know what he says.

As I said in my first post, do you think the standard air box can be modified if a hole was cut in it to make way for the induction tubing, and is there enough room inside the airbox for a cone?

That looks good! I would have thought it would be fairly easy to make that heat sheild out of a sheet of Stainless Steel.

Yeah, I could. But I assumed that an aftermarket induction kit would give better airflow.

It has been established that the stock air box is better than a bolt on induction kit as it only allows cold air to be sucked into the throttle body. Thinking about this, would it be possible to adapt the stock air box (cut a hole in it) to accept the aftermarket induction tubing/filter, this way you are getting the best of both worlds or, would you? This may have been done or discussed before, but without looking deeper into it I don't see why it should work. Any thoughts?

How much you asking? I'm having a rear bumper supplied and sprayed from Night Racer at the end of the month, so they would be able to do the skirts at the same time.
