Incidentally, for Mr Monkey of the Mark:
2.409 60foot
12.71 quarter mile @ 123mph
184 1.25mile top speed run
Drove home
-Ian
Drove there, mapped on the strip (
), drove home.
2.55 60 foot
12.66 1/4 mile @ 126mph
My best 1/4 mile terminal speed was 129, which I was quite pleased with. I didn't do a top speed run as I wasn't happy with the fuelling.
I'm sure the car is more than capable of 11's, shame the driver isn't
Thanks to Mig for all his assistance with diagnosing and changing bits for me, and thanks Jake, for helping put the car back together at the end. (Always good handywork
)
I personally thought it was a really good day out and as already said, the camaraderie amongst us this year was great

Or they didn't fill it up after fitting a new oil filter
The red oil symbol next to the amber one is oil pressure. Things are bad if this one lights up!

Jake needs to make sure there's a first aid kit on hand
Sorry! - couldn't resist

its all gone quiet on this thread c'mon Ian C and Paul E i was asked to put up the numbers when i had the car mapped, so hear they are again if you missed the first time T61 with SAFC and ITC 510 rwhp and 457 ft/lb torque, you seem a little shy with the numbers boys are they a trade secret, its all good and well sniggering at other peoples efforts but if you cant back it up with substance it dont mean jack
Unless all the car's you want to compare get their results from the same dyno, the figures are totally meaningless....
As an example, I know of one car that read ~460 rwhp on a dyno-dynamics wheel dyno, and ~600 rhhp on Thor's Dyna-pack hub dyno.
I'm not saying either are wrong, but as you can see, they're worlds apart.

I loved the first 3 door Sierra Cosworth. Best car for me from the 80's though, has to be the RS200

You have no need to worry about that-I've already put my mobile number under ICE in his phone and his mobile number under ICE on my phone. Only problem I have is that I have an accident he won't answer the phone, and if they leave a message he won't call them back!

not wishing to sound daft, but how?!
Because you never know when you're about to get struck down, and if no-one is around who knows you well enough, it could help the emergency services with regard to certain conditions. Diabetes, allergies to penicillin etc...

My mum has had to do jury service twice now. The first one she could defer because of work. The company she worked for was very small, there were other people away on holiday at that time and they had a big order to get out. She had to send a letter off to the court from her company explaining the situation. She still had to do it a few months later though.

Just a suggestion, how about paying to get the car trailered up to Pheonix in Watford? - They've just sorted out Ian C's gearbox for a very good price, and fairly quickly too. They're also very famillier with Supra's now and very trusted by a fair few people....
-
Yes but do they leave the signal intact until that point?
Thor's ones do. They simply cap at a desired voltage.
John, as far as I can make out, you should be OK with the HKS one as I'm fairly sure the MAP sensor is ONLY used for fuel cut on a UK spec. - Although I'd be interested, and happy to be proved wrong.
It's undoubtably the MAF that controls all the fuelling on a UK car....
-
It's plastic welded via studs on the underside of the panel. You can carefully break them off and re-weld with a soldering iron, but it's probably easier to take your time and mask it up.

care to elaborate as to why you want to know?
JB
Maybe he wants to nick it. I just wondered why that one specifically, there's loads around, much more accessible than on Mars

As the title says
Please PM me.

Aaaah, thanks guys
Glad to be able to help

Sheena, I am so shocked-I know you said he was a bit poorly but I can't believe it. We'll be thinking of you and if you need anything at all you know where we are, just call.
All our love

If the Seller has no information or codes you will have to have the box taken out and sent to Clifford for a SMALL fee of £80.00 they will reissue codes....I had to do it with mine.
Alternatively, contact me and I can probably sort it out for a fraction of that cost!

AHHHHH Blisss...2 weeks peace and quiet ...can't wait LOL...have a good one bud
Not if he's taking his mobile with him!
Don't do it Tel, leave it at home!!!

You need to take the white wire from the Ai606 and connect it to a window closure module, (separate part), then connect that, to the window wiring.
-
I could be wrong, but I though the sensor in the front bumper was for the climate control. All Supras have them.

I would like to say thankyou to Faye and RobAce for bringing some food and drink, Dave and Paul (sorry if that's wrong) for unloading my car for me and a huge thanks to Jenny and Christian for cleaning up the shop after the coke incident and for Jenny's many offers of help!
Nice to see such a big turnout-I think next time I should get a bit more food and drink in

but I guess it explains why we don't see more of them about.
And the fact that most of them can only manage 10-12 mpg if you nurse them around everywhere....
-
There's no real excuse for butchery like that.
Even if it IS tight to go back on, a soft faced mallet would have been a better tool to "persuade" it to fit, rather than a fcuking great hammer
Certainly the "mechanic" who did that job, (loose belt and mullered pulley) has lost all credibility in my eyes
I'm not sure if I'm missing something... Who fitted it Jake?
TOTBIV - Any news yet ?
