Rob,
No problem, message sent.
For the rest of you who want to get your hands on this car, be sure to PM or email me at "[email protected]". I am happy to wait for an enthusiast, but can also facilitate a swift purchase to the right person.
The sun is out . . . . time for a spin

Well she is finally out of the workshop after 7 months inside.
In the meantime I bought a bike, I am afraid that the "bike bug" has has taken me and I do not need the Supra !
TAZ is growling like a Tiger (probably a bit jealous) but I am afraid I have no time for a car that needs the care and attention she does. So I am putting her up for sale.
So who is TAZ ?
As a taste of some her kit (for those of you who do not know) please see the spec below. Its a bit out of date but gives you an idea of the work that the car has undergone. She needs a final tune but is basically taxed and MOT'd for a year and road legal to go.
Here she is:

I believe TAZ is an expert at doing this
Its just a case of flooding the exhaust with unspent fuel by revving on some decent injectors with either bad or extreme timing.

. . . and the 'ickle car sought the light of day, having been banged up for 5 months. Only a few days to go, said the nice mechanics at Phoenix, then we'll see how you run. New brakes, new exhaust, new manifold - you should be breathing easy now.
. . . and so TAZ waited . . .
-
A long time ago in a distant galaxy . . . .
There was a purple car called TAZ.
And Whitelightning lurved that 'ickle car.
But she broke, and went away for nearly 5 months.
Into surgeory, a poor broken shell of her former self.
But rumour has it that she is returning.
She will growl, she will spin and she will bring back those smiles lost in past ages.
Bigger mods, louder sounds and more performance . . .
. . .to be continued . . .

Iran ?
Sounds like Im goin on another sunny holiday
Pass me the British Army, I think I will be needing that !
-
Well I have been trying: Snow + Kawasaki 900 ZXR !
Taz is still in the workshop, but the bike is good fun
-
I only go out when it snows

Noble GTO 3R

TAZ is in Phoenix for some work, Mark comes recommended.
Looking forward to seeing TAZ again very soon so I can take her for a spin
-
Downpipe and midpipe combo 3" for single turbo conversion will be £250.
It will be at Phoenix in Watford, its coming off TAZ (our supra) so I can upgrade to BL exhaust.
Successful bidder must pickup form Phoenix, who can also fit if necessary.
Fitting costs should be negotiated with Mark at Phoenix.

Hope its not a "she" from a dating site.
Beware the scams

What annoys me is when people assume they have beaten you because they are prepared to drive like a fool and you are not - still it will be their loss when the law of statistics takes it's toll on them...
Isn't that what our "spirited driving" forum fails to note ?
Are our Supras beating Porsches because such owners cannot be arsed to go over 140 leptons, I often wonder ? Are WE not the "wide boys" ? Such stories noted in that forum must surely fit your comment above, as a result ?
-
Excellent choice of colour.
Up the Purple Supras !
-
There is no comparison - the car is in a league of its own!
I would be naive to think that.
Technology has moved on.
Good for modding though.
-
Who is taking my car for a spin then !!!
-
Why do we compare our Supras (a type of car from a manufacturer) to BMWs (a manufacturer) ?
Surely we should compare Supras to the 6 series or a BMW type. Or Toyota to BMW holistically.
Interesting . . .
-
Standard Supra - heading into Salisbury.
Missed the registration, I was coming the opposite way on a Kawasaki ZX9R and was ragging her
-
The BMW Rant continues . . . .
Im an Ex BMW driver and proud of it
!!
I am no more socialable in a Supra than I was in a BMW.
Wow - what a revelation, its still me driving, so I don't change my character depending on the type of car I drive ? Well I would not have guess that !
Therefore if I do not change then maybe - just maybe - other people do not change in character when driving different cars.
So I guess if a BMW driver has driven any other car - and the likelyhood is that he/she has, then their character remains constant. Therefore how can BMW drivers be worse than other drivers ?
Well the truth is, they are not, many BMW enthusiasts are as keen for their machines as we are for ours. True, the BMW is easier to drive, so what ? many of them taken them to the limit - I have seen many of you lot coax your Supras and drive them less than enthusiastically yet you would criticise a BMW driver for - er - driving enthusiastically ? (not all of you - so don't flame !).
So I ask myself why attack BMW drivers ? (thread title).
Is it to hide the fact that some of you are jealous ? For BMW has invented many of the ground breaking designs we see today in car technology. Is it a jealousy of how easy it is for a M3 to out drive a Supra with very little effort ? Where the Supra may be a little "difficult", especially in the rain or when cornering ?
Oh - techies will be telling me the terminal velocity into corners comparison and co-effecient of friction calculations after this post (not interested btw). All I can say is that I work alot harder in a Supra to achieve similar results on 90% of the roads I drive on in this country than in a BMW - Fact.
So do I hate BMW drivers ?
No, I envy them when my aircon breaks, I envy them when insurance renewal comes round and I envy them in traffic and when I have to fill up.
So next time you diss the Germans, just think what you will leave behind in your legacy after you die, because the German car industry is monumental. Think about why people buy BMWs and think about why you bought a Supra. If you don't know, I suggest you sell it now.
Have a nice day . . ..
-
Just give me a grid reference and I will send them a present

Eeeeeeek !

BTW has the Mosler got Toyota indicator stems and a dash made by a 4 year old with his dad's toolset ?
Even Noble and TVR can do better than that (in fact the interior of TVRs are might fine, so long as the glue holds lol)

Well she should rev to 10,000rpm now. Someone is going to get a quick car.
But I warn you, I want an enthusiast - she needs someone who can handle her.
All offers will be seriously considered.
I am hoping someone in the mkivsupra community will take her on, I am sure we all want her "kicking bottom" on the track and shows of future Supra events.
So who is going to negotiate for this 200mph car ?
