There is a relay or something in the passenger side rear wheel arch that controls the pump. Try searching for the 12volt fuel mod. That should tell you where it is. Could just be just this relay.

So the crimp bits will be ok. Just not sure about the black tape. As above i thought petrol would make it come unstuck. Do they need to be insulated?

But that tape would come undone if petrol gets on it!! Thats what i have found in the past anyway. Any other ideas?

Sorry for the but when changing the pump to the walbro, i noticed that the plug is different, so obviously you have to cut the wires and then join them on to the old plug using the crimps supplied. Do these joints need to be insulated in anyway. If so with what? Thanks
