  1. I'd be impressed if it did find it's way UP to the turbo It wont fall off as i've had something similar for the last year. My main worry is too much vibration working it loose over time and making it leak. But with a bracket to support and putting loads of gasket sealent on it it'll last till the next turbo goes on
  2. I really did enjoy the T70, but am looking forward to seeing of the 4088 goes
  3. Darryl have you got a straight on picture?? To see the angle of the feed.
  4. Yeah seen the ones on the US EBay, but was kind of hoping there'd be a UK seller who'd get one out sooner. But $32 for 2 shipped sounds damn good to me Gonna have a word with Sam at TF but am sure the thickest they do will be 10mm.
  5. Yeah i thought that too, that's tomorrows project
  6. So what's the desired angle for the feed/return flanges?? And should they go clockwise or anticlockwise?? I was going to move it just one postion over, but am having a slight issue with my return hose. I can get round it if i really need to but want to know how far can i turn the cartridge before it's not getting the most amount of spray from the oil.
  7. Anyone able to supply me with a 20mm T4 Riser plate??
  8. Yeah that was my worry, but it's sealed like there's no tomorrow. Plus it's only 2 extra from what i just took off. Yeah tell me about it. I thought there'd be a few, but not as many.
  9. Thought i'd take a few pictures of my XS T70 that i killed a month or so ago and my new Precision GT4088 (81A/R). Thought it was going to be bigger TBH. Test fitted it and will fit fine with a raiser plate
  10. Well with the new turbo i decided i'd get up early (for me) and head off down ThinkAuto in Isleworth and get some new hose for my turbo return and some new fittings, specialy as i wanted to do something for my oil temp/pressure sensors. So after fighting the traffic heading to Wembley we get there to find theem closed. So back in the car and over to Park Royal to visit Pirtek. Now i didn't hold much hope for them helping me but i was pleasently surprised. Of course i didn't know what sizes i needed, just various examples. Thee bloke was really helpfull, really friendly and was able to do everything i was after. He even gave me 10% discount which was good of him. Then the card wouldn't go through, and because they were closing just took my details and said he'd do it Monday. So i left with over £100 of hoses and fittings and i didn't pay Anyway, the real reason for the thread. So i call this my Frankenstein It's a monstrosity but it supplies my oil feed, my oil temp sensor and my oil pressure sensor Just gotta wrap the lot now in heat cloth and job done.
  11. Well i went down Halfords and bought myself an 8/9mm ring spanner and it fitted perfect. Cheers for all the help guys
  12. I'm not sure what i think about this film now. When it was announced i was excited. But Virgin radio have an ad for this every hour on the radio which to me sounds like they are really pushing it to get viewers. But now after hearng this i think i'll give it a whirl
  13. She's gone Burnt my fingerprints off though by picking up the bit after i cut it off
  14. Yeah defiantly, would be really good to get a cross range of singles down there to see what can be achieved etc..
  15. You know me, i like a good bargain He's got 3 in stock if anyones intrested.
  16. I think it's slightly smaller than the 67 but is in the power range of the 67DBB, but then that's what im told. But the 4088 is also taking over the 67 is most common turbo now i think to Yeah looks like it doesn't it. Just thought the turbo was a little big to have it tbh
  17. Shouldn't be too bad, just wip the filter off and it'll be there. I'll measure it all up before i commit to drilling though
  18. Stupid me Let me edit the first post.
  19. With a new V-band clamp it was about £520 posted, and paid £13 odd to parcelforce for handling today
  20. After reading the comments on here i went in expect not alot but gotta say i enjoyed it. HATED the opening credits, the dancing was..... alright, and i now would like to see MJ just become a friend and PP should get a new love intrest. Long film with a complex stroy line that worked. Could have been slightly longer but it was fine. I'll buy it for sure and would go see it again if it didn't cost nearly £15
