Chris, Did you fit the skirts at the same time? Have you a pic of where it meets the sill....just under the door? I have skirts, spats and front lip ready to fit and also would like to know if you have to take all that black plastic off before you start? thanks Roy.

I`m with Admiral also, they were the cheapest on my n/a j-spec. Very important you check the detail on your policy when it comes through, they have a habit of getting it wrong. rgds Roy

On the Road Angel thing, does it work ok there in the centre of the screen? I always get the `searching` message fixing it there. Been thinking the Supra screens could be different down the years?? Mines the `94 j-spec. rgds Roy.

well, finally it fired up when i removed it from it`s cradle and jammed it between screen and dash above the rev counter. Doesn`t want to work in it`s holder (always says searching for satellites), wonder would the optional antenna be of any use? Seems fine when it is working, lets me know my speedo`s reading approx 8-9 mph too fast:eek: Anyone else got this item working as it should? Where to mount plz?? rgds Roy.

To those of you who have this unit in the Supra.... where did you mount it? Bottom of the screen? Do the wiper blades not get in the way? I just got mine today and after 1 1/2 hrs it`s still `searching`. I`ve registered it via their site as well. Any thoughts? thanks Roy.

Hello all, Have been browsing this board for over a year now and at the same time trying to track down a TT Supra. As i live over in N.I. TTs are extremely rare and of the 2 i`ve seen the high miles (100k) have put me off. However my patience just wouldn`t hold out and i`ve bought a nice low mileage unmodified N/A. now the questions..... ! 1. Starting up, is it normal for the engine to idle @ 1800 for approx 2 minutes then back to 800? 2. Mileage still reads kms, if i do the conversion does it reset all to zeros or convert the existing kms to miles? 3. Also got that rattle and knock over bumpy roads, checking subframe bolts tomorrow, anything else i should look for?? thanks for replies ...... these forums have been a mine of info

Hi all! A first post from another newbie! (forgive my ignorance) Was out this evening looking at what appeared to be a very nice met.silver jap import. Nosing under the bonnet i spotted the inner guards and the panel by the radiator had a sort of silver/grey matt finish, bit like primer. Now what i don`t know is whether this is normal, or should it not be the same as the exterior? The words `accident` and `damage` loom large:confused: But if so why would anyone leave it finished in primer?? Hope someone can shed some light.......... thanks satsport
