This new Dell E6400 is a bit wierd, turn NUM LOCK on and you still have to hold down the Fn key to do numbers, guess it's a feature incase you swap back from a full size keyboard or something like that...
It's got those flash illuminating keys too! woot
I'm tempted by one of those to replace my T43p. Do you like it?

A '93 advert with a facelift car? Hmm, actually, it's got orange front signals, but the facelift side bits. How odd.

Errrr, anyone know the price of ..... Diseasel??
Yeah.. cheapest around here is 1.05

Maybe lower tyre pressure up front will help the tyres take up some of the side pressures.

I have always been fortunate. I never earned much money but I was provided a car by a client instead of them paying me for my services when I first went self employed. I am also covered by their company insurance policy. After a couple of leased new cars, I asked for a Supra and they gave me one which they paid the finance on, for me to keep afterwards. I wrote that one off, and got the current one after that. That's all paid now so no debt, but I still have the good insurance deal (~£600/year covering me on both the J-Spec Supra TT and a new Honda Civic diesel). I don't go on any skiiing trips but we do take a few holidays to the inlaws in Spain & Turkey.
I think Charlotte hit the nail on the head that basically your outgoings are somewhat extravagant and certainly more than most regular folk here in England would have.

I'm still paying 108p for my diesel
Why do they always refer to the UL price when probably more cars use diesel

On the 16" stock wheels I think the front was 225 and the rear size was 245. On the 18" on the front 245 and back 265. It still did this a bit on the 16's but nothing like I remember it now.
Sidewall height or lack of and perhaps tyre pressures could be important too. Are they like rubber bands?

Or at least I think it's called tramlining anyway
,even though you're not driving on truck damaged/tramlined roads.

My car isn’t handling right. It will drive and brake straight on a dead straight level road. However if the road points to either the left or right the car seems to want to follow the road. Going downhill on a road that’s slopes to the left for example whilst braking in traffic the car is really pulling to the left.
I had my brakes checked and the garage replaced the calliper pins, cleaned them out etc but it still wasn’t right.
I got the alignment done but not successfully as some of the nuts were seized so I need to get that sorted first. Camber (I think) was well out on both sides but it was even so they said it might have been set like that previously so at the moment they are both at -3 from memory.
Any thoughts? Could it just need the alignment sorting or could this be a suspension issue?
Also since I went from 16” wheels to 18” the problems got MUCH worse.
In case you didn't already know, what you're describing is called tramlining, and cars with wide tyres do this anyway. All Supras do it. Those with bigger/wider wheels do it more. Wrong caster angle would cause this too (think how a shopping trolley pulls its front wheels around instead of pushing them).

I have customer where one of the partners is Caucasian but quite dark, always tanned so his nickname Raoul. They were asking for ideas for his 50th birthday present and I figured some Fair and Handsome might do

Anybody have a link to the funny video for the Indian fairness cream? Not sure if it was "Fair and Lovely" but there are loads of videos for that and not that look funny as I remembered.

RBS looks like a cheap buy at 45p, but then I said that when they were at 70-odd P

I use Barclays online stockbrokers (part of Barclays Wealth). If you trade very infrequently the trades cost £12.95. I think III looks better and is a little cheaper, but you have to wait for activation stuff through the post whereas Barclays let you credit the account from a debit card and trade right away.

The V6 ones are pretty rare so you should get good money for it

The worst part for me was the feeling of losing my mind, I actually felt like was going insane when the panic attacks were in full flow.
I can relate to that!!

Oh, BTW, meeting went OK, in the end I made sure I spoke up more than normal, making sarcy jokes and stuff, kept my mind off it and it was much better than last week - I didn't feel like I had to get up and walk out!!
Good
I nearly ran out the door at the missus' dad's house on Sunday when we were eating Sunday lunch

I bet they've been putting something in the water to make us all forget the economic climate and be happy and spend

Got the weekly meeting today, and I've had a headache all last night and this morning - not sure if it's related but it probably is. It's horrible because the meeting is only about 6 people, all people I see and joke about with every day, nothing stressful goes on, nothing I'm worried about, so why all the panic!!! Damn my head!!
Try taking 3 minutes with a small bag (breathing into). They say to use a paper bag, but I use plastic ones if that's all I can find that's small enough. It generally does calm you down.
