Hi, I have a UK twin turbo and ever since I’ve had it its max boost is around 0.65 bar. The 1st turbo boosts at around 0.5bar and when the second come on it reaches 0.65bar. I still have the cats in, standard air filter and exhaust. I have recently installed a manual boost controller and now the car boost at 0.6 on 1st and 0.7 when no.2 comes on. Does this sound normal? - I hear that UK boost figures are lower then the Jap ones. 2) Will this boost increase do ANY damage as I am all stock as far as air flow is concerned.

If the revs don’t increase then it may need re-gassing. Mine didn't do anything until I got it gassed. The Supra Aircon has a safety feature which does not let the condenser run when the gas pressure is low. I got mine gassed for £50 and he included a leak test too. Working fine now Hope this helps

Hi, Woke up this morning only to find that both the side intake vents were ripped off and stolen. There are red. This has put me in a really bad mood. Please keep a look out for them. London walthamstow area. Any ideas how much thses cost to replace as the car look hurt without them Cheers.

It needs to be changed approx every 60k Toyota's offer sounds good if it includes a car. If it snaps it will destroy your engine!

A mates supra (UK) has 140000 on clock and his turbos are still sweet. Changes oil every 4000-5000 miles. Uses Halfords semi syn 10w-40 oil. He warms up and cools down every time. No problems with them at all.

The same thing happens to me. while reversing there is a clunk noise when the break is applied. Does any on eknow ehat this is?

Hi does anyone have a photo of a supra engine bay with labels to locate intercooling piping, air intake, turbo 1 and turbo two location + piping. Wastegate etc. the more labels the better. This would be very usful for me as iam not sure whats-whats on the turbo side of things Cheers

Hi Uk spec (no mods)supra boosting at 0.6 bar when the 2rd turbs on line. Assuming its a boost leak! -but have no idea on how to trace the dam thing down. I know theres a lot of pipe work down there so any advise would be great. Just an idea - could the leak come out of where the boost gauge is pluged into?

hi, any ideas. The boost gauge on my supra TT reads 0.45-0.5bar (7.2psi) when the 1st turbo kicks in. However when the 2rd turbo kicks in, which you can feel with a kick up the back, the boost gauge rattle frantically around 0.6 bar. this is really anoying me as standard boost is 0.8 bar. The feeling of boost seems fine. i.e a kick aound 4000-5000RMP Is there a problem with the boost gauge. The rattle does not sound healthy. thanks
