  1. Yes you should however its the normal treaded tyres which ruin the track on the day as they pull up the rubber & VHT so the super grip level will not last all day after all the RWD Supra massive wheel spin launches that there will no doubt be! Andy
  2. Hi, We are TEIN dealers and can advise you what we can supply to you. The EDFC system allows you to adjust the bump and rebound settings from inside the car electronically so you dont have to open the bonnet each time you want to make a minor change. Its suited if you like to have a harder ride for say track days or racing around but at the touch of a button you can change the setting to the one that your missus likes which is less hard. I would recommend the following for your road car: TEIN Super Street damper Kit with Top mounts £ 760 including VAT TEIN EDFC System for above £ 150 including VAT This will give you adjustable ride height and damper settings and will be ready to bolt on. If you would like to buy this kit or discuss TEIN further with us, please contact me. Thanks Andy
  3. Hi all. I know a little bit about drag racing and have a product that can help those who want to have an edge over others. We sell a drag-specific product which increases traction by softening your tyres. Its called GRIP. You spray/paint it onto your tread ( it can be used on any tyre ) and it soaks in to soften the rubber. Its in stock and costs £20 delivered to your door and will do around 40 tyres. It doesnt go off so you can coat your tyres and use it again later on. Best thing about it is that you cant see it on the tyres and no one knows you have applied it. To buy a can, contact me and I will get it sent out tomm. Cheers Andy
  4. That is my reason. Sorry for hijack, can you contact me about me buying it please. My direct email is : [email protected] Thanks Andy
  5. I may be interested, where did it come from?, i.e. is it a copy? Andy
  6. If its still open, can I buy one please. Please PM me the bank details and I will arrange a payment. Presumably everyone knows the chap whos account its being sent to, as I dont, anyone vouch for him? Thanks Andy Barnes

  8. Yeah? How much do you like it? Do you have 18,000 reasons to like it? Andy
  9. Well that was my idea, especially running without a big wing, It shows some thought outside the usual Subaru box. Well thats what I think anyway! An STI that doesnt look like an STI. Hope she sells soon, her replacement is a Supra Andy
  10. Hi all, I am selling my Subaru Impreza WRX STI Type UK, it was used as a Do-Luck demo car over the past 2 years. I bought it new ( UK Car ) in January 2005 and its done 20000 miles since. Frequently serviced at Sumo (not Subaru) it has the following modifications: Do-Luck Front Bumper Do-Luck Rear Bumper Do-Luck Side Skirts Do-Luck Aero Lip Carbon Bootlid Do-Luck 17'' Super Racing Enkei MAT wheels Toyo R888 tyres Lanusport Carbon Roof Vortex Generator DC Sports Titanium Front strut brace AEM Cold Air intake system HKS Super SQV Motec M800 Engine management ( mapped on 97ron ) DC Sports Catback exhaust system TEIN Super Street Damper kit TEIN EDFC Damper controller And some other stuff I probably forgot. Standard STI equipment as far as the car goes, The car was tuned on the road so I have never dyno'd it see how much more power it has, at the time I just wanted to reduce the boring all revs no power feeling the car had from stock ( as they all do ). Its been used as my everyday car, most of the miles on the motorway. Its been on 2 trackdays in its life, other than that its just been a road car with no abuse whatsoever. It has some paintwork that needs doing ( which we will do before the car sells ) such as stone chips etc, other than that its perfect as is. Asking price is £18,000, pictures of the car below: http://sumopictures.sumopower.com/SumoGDB/8.jpg http://sumopictures.sumopower.com/SumoGDB/6.jpg http://sumopictures.sumopower.com/SumoGDB/7.jpg http://sumopictures.sumopower.com/SumoGDB/1.jpg http://sumopictures.sumopower.com/SumoGDB/2.jpg http://sumopictures.sumopower.com/SumoGDB/3.jpg http://sumopictures.sumopower.com/SumoGDB/4.jpg http://sumopictures.sumopower.com/SumoGDB/5.jpg To ask more questions or arrange to see the car, please email me directly : andy @ sumopower.com Thanks Andy
  11. OK, when I get a trip organised for Mr Ito ( possibily JAE ) I will let you guys know, if you want to meet him as a club I will be happy to arrange it if there is interest. Copies of their products are a problem of course however there is a difference in how they are made and in turn thier strength which only people with the original parts would see and appreciate as well as the obvious flaws in the reproduction moulds and materials used. On the subject of pricing, the new pricing will be released within the next few days and I will post the link when its done. Also new for this year is 'Club Do-Luck'. Club Do-Luck is a unique and exclusive membership for those customers who have purchased genuine Do-Luck parts from us, each customer will receive a special and brand new Badge from Do-Luck which is individually numbered and will listed with a member number. This is only available to 'members' and will make you elegible for various extras from Do-Luck including special extra discount on future orders. Full details about this wll be issued when the new pricing is revealed, Club Do-Luck will apply to all Do-Luck products, not only Supra. Cheers Andy
  12. Hi all, As the title suggests, the original late Do-Luck Supra is coming to the UK very soon. This one: http://www.do-luck.co.uk/images2/jza80late1.jpg Its spent much of it life at an Autobacs store in Nagoya however after much begging and pleading Mr Ito of Do-Luck has agreed to send the car from Japan for us to use here in Europe. The car will form part of our promotional plans this year to demonstrate what real Do-Luck parts are about. Combined with this, we are also currently revising our product range pricing, particularly for the JZA80 which will make the parts not only more readily available but also at a price which is more favourable to the guys which admire Mr Ito's styling of the JZA. I have also requested that Mr Ito visit us again in the summertime, probably for JAE where he will be here see the various owners clubs, including MKIVSUPRA and to chat to the UK owners etc. Although known for his Skyline tuning, Mr Ito is a Toyota engine expert, tuning many household name cars in Japan, so its a conversation worth striking up with him when he arrives if you get the chance. We will make the car road legal and take it to various events this year as road car. It should be here around the end of April, Mr Ito is just updating some things so it arrives with what he calls 'normal easy power' - 500bhp. Mr Ito is keen to meet as many Supra owners as possible when he does come back to the UK, maybe we can look at getting a session arranged for MKIV members to talk to him when he comes over if there is interest? He is already an overseas member of the GTR club, recently the GTROC visited Japan for the TAS and we also arranged for them to go to Mr Ito due to his relationship with the club, maybe if the MKIV are interested, we can get a closer relationship organised along the same lines. Cheers Andy
  13. Top Secret told us that the rear lights are exchange only and are hand made and they would be 1k+ in the UK. Unless someone has copied them already
  14. You didn t see the Supra behind the second grandstand in our Do-Luck area? Maybe the best Supra at the show , although Whifbitz Black Supra is lovely. Pippa's Car was also on the Opie Oil stand opposite looking as good as ever. Unfortunately some of the other Supra's couldn t make it in the end. thanks Alex
  15. Thank you for everyone that turned up. Yes you did do us a favour and in return had a slightly cheaper and more social sunday. thanks Alex
  16. Kev.O, if you fancy coming along, let me know how many tickets you need. thanks Alex
  17. Hi, Reading the problems you mention about the front bumper I have to ask if it is an original bumper or a copy? We have never had fitment issues with our Supra kit before. Would be interested to know. Cheers
  18. As long as its Genuine that's all that matters, whether we supplied it, one of our dealers, already on the car.
  19. If anyone here has a Supra or other car with a Genuine Do-Luck body kit car or with Double 6 wheels and would like to join other Do-luck cars this Sunday at Santa Pod, please contact me asap so I can arrange a space and your free tickets. Many thanks Alex
  20. Hope OK to post this on the site guys, some news that will be of interest to those who like Drag racing, remove if need be Copied from the GTR Reg: Hi all, My wait is almost over. FUUJIN is nearly ready and here are some pictures from today. We just have some wiring to finish off when it returns from Greece in a couple of weeks time. The car weighs 1050 kilos without fuel/me - which is the same weight as HKS - later I can remove more weight, probably around 30 kilos when I can source a couple of lighter parts which I dont have right now and are custom made. Anyway, enough of the talk, finally, here it is:- http://sumopictures.sumopower.com/1/F2.jpg http://sumopictures.sumopower.com/1/F1.jpg http://sumopictures.sumopower.com/1/F4.jpg http://sumopictures.sumopower.com/1/F3.jpg http://sumopictures.sumopower.com/1/F5.jpg http://sumopictures.sumopower.com/1/F6.jpg http://sumopictures.sumopower.com/1/F7.jpg http://sumopictures.sumopower.com/1/F8.jpg Finally, we will return to the drag strip after an absence of 2 years and pick up where we left off - I cant wait. See you at Santa Pod in the future. We'll be using the same boost pressure as Mario - ALL OF IT ! :squintdan Andy, Rob, Mark, Alex, Matt, Steve and Dan
  21. Hello. Obviously you are aware that these wheels do not fit straight onto a JZA80 You also need to purchase the Do-Luck front wings to go with them. Hope you realised that Andy
  22. Sorry I forgot to reply to your question. The Cam covers were done by a company I contacted after the Autosport show last year, to be honest I dont want to give thier details here, they did a great job however they almost doubled the price halfway through the job when they found out what car they were for, ie Skyline. I would rather not recommend them purely for this reason. If you check the net, just look around for custom airbrush companies, there are loads, mostly for bikers etc building custom bikes. Sorry to be unhelpful with this info but wouldnt want anyone else to get the same treatment.
  23. Hi all. So I guess that Leon's car is the fastest/quickest over here then, by the way, a T78 turbo is a 700bhp turbo, if you have terminal speeds of 110-115mph, you dont have 700bhp, ie the T78 car is not running full boost/power. With 700bhp would expect terminals of 130ish regardless of initial traction at the line. Speed is horsepower ET is the setup of the car The drag strip is the lie detector, if you have the power, your terminal speeds will show this in your speed. Anyone going to Santa Pod this Sunday, first meeting of the year, if the weather is good, I will be there. By the way, you guys know that we have a two wheel drive dyno dynamics rolling road down here dont you? Rated to 800 RWHP. Its available, no wheelspin. Maybe see some of you on Sunday, I will probably be in either our Spoon Civic or my Stagea.
  24. Questions questions! Mig, how are you, you still got it have you? If it were 6 Speed I would be round like a shot to buy it back, Need a manual one Tyres, those sizes dont mean anything when talking about drag radials, they go in inches of rolling diameter etc, you would have to get me to look into it further for you, it depends on various measurements on the car also, ie ride height etc, all these things are important due to the changes in shape the tyres have under load etc, tyre costs as an estimation would be around £300 per tyre, the special wheels required would be around £450 per rim, if this cost is acceptable to you, lets get you some ordered
