  2. sounds good to me :D :D see if i can drum up sum more Suffolk folk Heckler whats happenin to U and work
  3. My 5 speed manual NA is a rocket ship to 120mph, then slower progress to 140 mph Accelerates about the same as an auto TT upto 100 mph. Then at 110+ the TT will pull away. My NA will out run most cars once @ 100 mph. Kill List: Sierra Cosworth Audi S3 Audi TT turbo Escort Cosworth MR2 Turbo Calibra V6 Most effective mod was the de-cat, and the second hand de-cat pipe only cost £50 - 10 mins to fit 5 speed box critisism. 2nd gear max 60 mph at red line, 3rd gear at 50 mph is only 4000rpm. Car takes off at 5000 rpm so at 55 mph you cant go into second and third is revving to low. Solution: Buy and fit a 6 speed box......circa £2500 - £4000 (75mph in2nd) :p :p Dont overtake at 50-55 mph. Wait till 60 mph , then go into 3rd :D

  9. Where are you in Suffolk. I am in Ipswich and there are 2 others Supes in Martlesham and Felixstowe. All 3 of us meet up from time to time. Charlie
  10. Warrior Motorsport in Claydon near Ipswich are really good. They do all Jap cars, NOS etc.. Simon the owners wife has a TT Supe. and they are capable of fitting a tt to a na. Cheap as well
  11. Another piccie - how do you get a pic on without it being an attachment
  12. Got there at noon, took me a further hour to find the place:conf: no sign posts. To anybody who is going for the first time look for signs for Podington, and you approach from the A509 side. Nice meet not many supes though. Shame about the weather as it started to pour an hour after I arrived. Will def go to Santa Pod again for a RWYB
  13. MAWBY, CHEERS, youre 24 Carat Pass received today :D :D
  14. I too will only be there Sat, so anyone will be welcome to my pass for Sunday
  15. Yes can I please have a pass - as no one else from these parts seems to want to come along - Ill PM you, cheers
  16. Im off to Santa Pod on the 19th June for the Jap Show. Its only £12 for 3 runs and any one is welcome. Any of you East Angians interested in joining me. I will probably be takinge my NA for the runs, just have to learn how to pull off quick in a manual without burning the clutch. Hopefully, maybe I wont make a fool of myself http://www.japshow.com/japshow/index.htm
  17. Did u look at the link I posted earlier on this thread. TDi actually quote the prices anb BHP gains for both a TT and NA
  18. Well as its just the 2 of us, lets try again in July
  19. The only purpose the cat serves is to reduce emissions, thus stifle back pressure. Both Japan and the USA have very stringent emission laws hence the 2 cats on a supe. By removing one cat, the engine becomes more efficent and breaths better. this would have no bearing on engine or turbo life. However as the car will go faster you mave drive it harder as it becomes more fun :D But the best bit is you still keep in one cat on and pass the mot
  20. Sax John see U at yours @ noon, I will bring a couple of badges. Also any body got directions please, Cheers
  21. Just had the second cat removed, second hand de-cat pipe fitted and a HKS hiper exhaust put on. The difference is phenominal  low down torque in town is instant. Throttle response instant. Get it done mate. Check out http://www.tdi-plc.com who quote the BHP gains. I got a very noticable 24 bhp, your TT wil get 45 bhp if you do the exhaust at the same time Pretty good £ per BHP:cool:
