  1. ***Sold - thanks for looking*** Rail has a very small area of minor cosmetic blemishing which I've tried to show in the second picture. The fitting kit is currently in a sealed bag, but I'll be happy to open it up if a potential purchaser wants to be sure everything is there. £150 delivered.
  2. Manifold still for sale. As I've found some other bits and pieces, I'll start separate threads for them in due course to keep things a bit simpler.
  3. Found the turbo! £525 including insured delivery.
  4. Not sure yet, as I've still not found it to confirm the exact spec. Would you like me to let you know when I do turn it up?
  5. I'm willing to part exchange for a radish or, alternatively, buy the manifold and I'll throw in a bunch free.
  6. ***Sold - thanks for looking*** I originally bought this from Chiefgroover many moons ago as part of a package of other parts with a view to a single turbo conversion. However, I cannot see me ever getting on with this in my lifetime, so it makes more sense to sell it on rather than just have it sitting around being a very expensive paperweight. I will likely have other bits and pieces up for sale in due course, including an unused non DBB T67 (Boostlogic, I think) turbo, injectors (possibly 650cc if memory serves) and so. Bar the manifold, I'm not, at present, entirely sure where I've stored everything else, so for the moment I'll tack on pictures of the other likely bits and pieces at the bottom of the thread. In the meantime, £500 buys you the manifold and insured UK mainland delivery. Pictures: And the other bits and pieces which I've yet to find:
  7. The percentage difference figure is the one to look at as that's the constant. For example, as it's reading approximately 8% too fast an indicated speed of 30mph would equate to around 27/28mph actual road speed (if my maths are correct!)
  8. This link should help. http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html
  9. Yep. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=138717
  10. Reading this bit I would have assumed you were trying to scam me if I were the seller.
  11. That's not all me. I've taken others over to the dark side. Anyway, best wishes for the new career, Matt.
  12. Keep them! You never know when you'll need spares.
  13. No, that's not what I said. My understanding is that penalties in terms of increased premiums may not be so harsh compared to a burgeoning collection of penalty points. Arguably, and playing Devil's Advocate for a moment, in the eyes of an insurance company somebody with 8 points in two years could be adjudged to have been driving around like an idiot anyway. As Michael says, insurance is not an exact science.
  14. As I understand it the temporary bans don't have so much affect for insurers compared to those who collect lots of points. Plus all the individual circumstances of the previous owner are unlikely to be exactly the same as yours so that will create a perceived disparity as well.
  15. But you've managed to acquire 8 points within those last two years.
  16. What happens in the event of someone bidding at 9.59pm and then someone else bidding at exactly 10pm? Unless someone can time it to the absolute second on here, which is nigh on impossible I'd suggest, a bid with a time stamp of 10pm is likely to be after your cut off time, i.e. 10pm plus extra seconds. So, is it a case of highest bid with a timestamp of 9.59pm or before wins? Or is it the highest bidder at 10.00pm and 59 seconds, i.e. a post with a time stamp before 10.01pm? And presumably in the event of equal winning bids being received at exactly the same time the first post would take precedence?
  17. If the garage is part of a block, presumably outside your defined garden area, then planning permission is likely to have been required for the extension. The five year rule is actually a four year rule. If a development requiring planning permission has been undertaken and the local planning authority have not enforced against it within 4 years of it being substantially completed then it becomes immune from planning control providing that it can be proved on the balance of probabilities. Now, if the garage extension did require permission and was substantially completed less than four years ago, if you purchase the property you will be liable as the householder if the local planning decide it is expedient to pursue it. I would be pressing the vendors and their solicitor to clarify the position for you as they're the ones with the potential problem at the moment.
  18. If this an original Toyota item, I'll take it please.
  19. Cheers. Was I the only person to beat from you from a standing start on Saturday (at the tolls mind)?! Your car looked nice and subtle. Bet that surprises a few unsuspecting people.
  20. Nice mini convoy before and after the tolls, before I had to turn off at the A12 exit.
  21. No problem and yes, that's outer edge to outer edge.
  22. Well, that was a surprise. The TRD measures approximately 360mm in diameter, which is larger than I thought it would be.
