Removed the bonnet sound deadning today, I did this to help air flow around the engine it helps alot, I did it on my old 306 GTI6 as well and it make a big difference in temps. However the biggest gain is noise!! Wow you can REALLY hear the turbos now it sounds like a jet and the bov is as loud as fook! the moral of this story? If you want to aid air flow around the engine for the summer and want loud turbos and tishhh`s remove the sound deadning!!

Fitted my aeromotive at long last, however, the car runs like crap! wont tick over properly and it stinks! I think its running mega rich but when we connected up the fuel pressure gauge it wouldnt work static (engine off), only with the engine running? We disconnected the vacuum etc. We set it to 37 psi (engine running) like the instructions said and I have read it on the board this is right? I think it must be the gauge but we dont know why it doesnt measure with the engine off? Has anyone else has problems setting theirs up? any help would be great!!!

Its ready made just wire and go! it doesnt use original earth points but new ones. so disturbing old ones does not come into it. they DO make a difference

I fitted one from ebay idle is smoother and engine runs better, feels slighty more torquey as well.

Yeah they dont feel mentally quick coz they are so big. but watch the speedo fly round proves they are and how quick cars disappear in your mirror! with the NOS turned on? well!! see ya later!

I think redline the best mag they do like there powerful jap cars, look how many they feature. And they seem more down to earth unlike Revs and wax mowers. Their DVD was fooking good as well.

abs you said "had it" in pasted tence meaning you have it no more? So ETTC better? Not sure about cutting into looms etc.

Has anyone tried the TTC mod? is it good or bad? Would like to try it. Would I get alot of lag before they spool up? To me thats a good thing Would it make the car quicker or slower or the same? opinions and advice please

No thats just the wastegate fluttering mate. normally only do it at low boost just when no.1 spools then back off it flutters. its normal.

Take out the hazard relay may stop them flashing although obviously you will have no indicators as well. -

No mate the 9006 is just too big to fit in hole, impossible to fit really. (diameter of 9006 bulbs is too wide for headlight hole). You will have to get another set of 9005`s.

Yeah Nic is correct 9005 for both, you have to snip half off the two bottom tabs on the bulbs to get them to fit. I got mine off ebay. £8.99/pair. Bargain and they look lovely!
