Ah, good thinking that man. I had forgotten about the restrictor ring gizmo. So, does the restrictor ring go into the exhaust? The decat? Or at the join?

I was thinking that too. So, a 2.5" decat set up going to a 3" exhaust would work OK?

I spoke with another member earlier about decat pipes and he expressed an opinion that on a BPU car, you would not notice the difference between 2.5" and 3" pipes. If that is correct, would the same rule apply for a cat back exhaust? Or should that be a 3" version as a minimum?

My newest Supra has a number plate which is J9 MUS. The chap who had it previously was called Mustafa so it suited him but seeing as my name is Colin, it is about as much use as a chocolate fire guard. So, any other Mustafa's out there want to make me an offer to part with it?

I was 8 when I started wearing glasses. Bloody awful NHS things they were too. 40 years later and I still wear glasses - although not the same ones.

Is that correct? re. the 2.5" - 3" thing? I didn't realise that. I will be interested in the pipes please. Could you give me an indication of how much? Also, what are peoples opinions of a 2.5" exhaust against a 3" version? Does that apply the same as the decat?

I have had many of them over the years, 300, skyline gts t, and of course, Supra's. To my mind, nothing touches the Supra for looks and tunability.

I just fancied another project Ed - but not as crazy (money wise) as the orange one.

I will do some pics tomorrow. It is a 1993 J-spec TT auto in silver. Bog standard but in very good condition. Has approximately 70,000 miles on the clock with FSH since being imported into the country. New shocks, brakes and reconditioned turbo's by Turbotechnics (I think that's what they are called). She needs some TLC inside but overall I am very happy

No, I think it needs the fob to allow the car to start after the ignition is switched on.
