  1. Nope, nothing. A big bang where it bounced into one of the rear wheels, then a horrific squealing! Oh well, it's into the garage for a new one tomorrow.
  2. Thought I'd put this in the spotted section as, driving home from Cheddar, Somerset last night to catch the Portsmouth v Bolton game my crank pulley fell off! I pulled into a parking layby and within 5 minutes another Supra had pulled in to make sure everything was OK! I managed to get a low loader in the end, and got home around 9pm (missed the game slightly!) Thanks for stopping guys, I appreciate the help. Hey, where was the car bra / gimp mask!? I didn't recognise it at first
  3. Crank pulley Mine fell off last night! The garage says they've had quite a few Supras with the same problem. They are sealed / bonded, and I guess over time that the bond holding it together just fails...
  4. Not sure exactly how it works, but could do with Original Veilside front bumper C1 Original Veilside rear spats or bumper
  5. It is something I've considered, but to be honest I'm still disappointed with how you've dealt with my girlfriend (the skint student nurse who bought the Isotta steering wheel & Momo boss for my birthday in September - ordered in August I think) you still haven't got back to her about the boss not fitting...
  6. whoops, sorry! A mess-up of my previous post!
  7. edited due to not being able to to understand a basic sentence! If I do get a full kit, I'll let you know about the skirts
  8. I am after the following GENUINE Veilside parts... C1 Front bumper Spats or Rear bumper Must be original. Silver would be great, but colour doesn't matter, as I'll probably get them resprayed anyway! Can anyone help?
  9. £40!!! I think I sold a set on here for around £2. I still have a set on the front, but need them on there until I get a new VS nosecone
  10. I signed up to use it for buying weekly lotto tickets & updated £10 into my account just for that. Within 5 minutes I had blown the lot on the scratchies & haven't used it since for fear of becoming hooked!
  11. Exactly what my garage told me yesterday when my car was in for its MOT! So, 2 new tyres set aside for next week (what's that £340 for 2 Eagle F1's?) Hopefully I wont get hammered on too much else. Does anyone know why the inner edge gets much more wear? The outer edge & middle had loads of tread left on mine
  12. I assume that's Km/h at the end?!
  13. Obviously.....she wouldn't feel great about it! (slight understatement) but there's always an element of risk in whatever you do. How many journeys have you ever taken? Thousands, tens of thousands? How many accidents have you been in? In how many of those do you think, that IF you even had a back seat passenger (and lets face it, what's the percentage of car journeys these days that actually involve more than one person) they would have killed you? I might have no argument here as I don't know the facts, but how many drivers have been killed as a direct result of rear seat passengers? I'd love to see the facts. If a child gets into a car I'm driving they wear a seatbelt. If it's an adult, they have a choice. I assume they're responsible enough to make their own choice of the potential danger of not wearing one. It's the nanny state thing as SonicSoop said. It's just totally ridiculous. Especially when it comes at the expense of 'proper' crime. We always hear about police being understaffed, especially at weekends, but then you have a van load who have nothing better to do than pull a car because a rear passenger has not got their seatbelt on. Even in a quiet period of the week I would find this a waste of police time, let alone when they're "stretched to the breaking point"
  14. I don't get it. If my girlfriend was in the back seat not wearing her seatbelt, and God forbid, in an accident flew forward and killed the driver. Would she be prosecuted as a criminal?
  15. Being a fairly violent city at the weekends, you'd think that 2am would mean the police would be monitoring the various pubs & clubs in Guildhall, Southsea etc, & breaking up the numerous fights outside, or trying to stop the MASSIVE drugs trade in the city. Or even the muggings, stabbings etc that have become so commonplace. But no, they're waiting in car parks for people to leave so they can pull them 20 metres down the road for their back seat passengers not wearing their seat belts. Just ask my girlfriend, who got her little £30 fine last night. That will teach her for trying to go out and have fun with her mates, and accepting a lift home from a designated driver, and living in a nanny state where it seems rather than keeping law and order, the primary role of the police is to now concentrate their efforts on sucking money out of easy targets. This wasn't one patrol car. This was a van with around 8 revenue collectors, I mean police officers. I can say with almost 100% certainty that within half a mile of the area some poor soul would be either being mugged or having the crap beaten out of him at that very moment. Oh well, I suppose that £30 revenue is better than doing the real police work, but I guess that's too much hassle. "RANT OVER"
  16. OK thanks for the quick reply. I'm still deciding on the C1 or C2. I know they're a bit old school and a lot of people turn their noses up at them, but I still think they're great!
  17. Is it original? Is the one in the photo original?
  18. I'm a massive fan of blue Supras, but those wheels dont do it for me! Also, looking at the rear photo, the door handle looks silver! Is it NA or TT?
  19. I'm sure I just read this somewhere else...
  20. This would be funny, if it wasn't so true! Nice post
  21. Sounds familiar! If you have any luck, let me know as I'm working away at the moment, and by the time I get back I'm not having much time to do anything.
  22. I had this exact problem with mine yesterday when I went to look at my steering wheel! First time I used the car for ages, had to jump start it & the button inside the car (drivers side) wouldn't open the passenger side lock. The key fob (Clifford) is locking the car, and flashing once when I press the button to unlock it, but there is no clicking noise & the doors are locked In otherwords - I'm locked out!
  23. Long story, but I have 2 silver rear bumpers in my garage...
