  1. A bigger plate isn't an option over here. The plate/holder should meet legal dimensions. Anyone tried fiberglass or plastic welding?
  2. Hey guys, How did you cover the hole in the rear bumper behind the licence plate? I don't want to use the side pods. USDM/EU spec bumpers aren't available anymore... I'm using USA sized plates (I'm in the Netherlands), but they won't cover everything. There is a 1cm gap on the bottom.
  3. Thanks Tim! I've changed my order to 5W40 and added 1L extra fuchs 4400. Since I will not be doing a flush it should be sufficient.
  4. Thank you Tim. Just to double check. I have a bone stock TT auto 77k miles. Differential: motul gear 75w90 (2x 1liter) http://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-899-motul-gear-300-75w-90-fully-synthetic-racing-car-gearbox-diff-oil.aspx Autobox: fuchs titan atf 4400 (2x 1liter) http://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-60163-fuchs-titan-atf-4400-automatic-transmission-fluid-for-japanese-cars.aspx Engine: motul 300v chrono 10w40 (3x 2liter) http://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-865-motul-300v-chrono-10w-40-racing-10w40-car-engine-oil.aspx Brakes: motul rbf600 (4x 500ml) http://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-894-motul-rbf-600-factory-line-racing-fully-synthetic-dot-4-brake-fluid-rbf600.aspx Is this enough to change everything? Do I need more or less? Or is this total overkill for a stock tt? Thanks again
  5. How is Motul dexron III for the auto trans? and how does it compare to Motul ATF 1A? http://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-889-motul-dexron-iii-fluid-for-automatic-gearboxes-power-steering-systems.aspx
  6. Denso makes the OEM coilpacks! It's the same as the Toyota ones.
  7. Thanks! Do you happen to know what size washer I might need?
  8. Sorry to bump this old topic, but I can't find my answer. When changing the oil do you have to replace a washer on the drain plug? If so what size? Thanks in advance.
  9. Take it to the track. Mph doesn't lie A proper bpu spec runs +/- 120mph in the quarter, which is around 400whp depending the dyno you use. Mph might be a little lower 116-118mph using 98ron fuel.
  10. Great ET! Surprised by the low mph, however this could be the high stall. What are your allignment settings? I would look into some 550cc injectors and afc. Then put in some high octane fuel (or blend with E85), reset the ecu and go. Should get you in the 11s pretty easy
  11. Turn your boost way down! Check tires and allignment Check brake pads + discs and replace them if needed Full fluid change, especially brakes Take your time getting to know the track. Follow the lines of more experienced drivers (you'll recognize them) to learn the track, just don't try to keep up!
  12. Very nice collection you have there. May I ask what you do for a living? In the beginning I thought you were just another car shop, but wow this is a whole other level.
  13. Like Ricky said, astandalone would be overkill for this setup. Usdm 550cc injectors and a s-afc should do the job! Your 440cc injectors will do depending your goals and currenct DC. How old is you fuel filter? A clogged filter can be the cause running lean.
  14. Charlton, since it's sunday I've got some reading for you http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?444569-Stock-twins-replacement-upgrade-Hybrid-GT28R-s/page99 If I were you I would read through this thread, especially the last few pages. Also look up the project thread from beezupra. AFAIK he has a very simple setup without a standalone (AFC). There are also several j-spec cars in the same thread. Not sure if you're a member on SF, but it's worth it imo. Send a pm to Stu Hagen with all your questions about hybrids. No one comes close to his experience when it comes to hybrid/stock TT's. Good luck!
