  1. Hey mate and thanks, Im from Coventry dude
  2. Thank you, believe it or not I have a set of standard TT 17s that Im getting refurbed to go on
  3. Just had a look at my year 2000 J spec facelift VVTi car. Front fog = H3 12V55W Low beam = HB4 9006J 12V55W High beam = HB3 9005 12V55W
  4. Thanks man! Really appreciate it. Is that HB3 for the low, high or fog?
  5. Oh yes you are absolutely correct, the OEM lip doesnt fit properly so I will need to get hold of a replacement that works with the active spoiler also, do toyota still do them or can I run something else?
  6. Thanks for the warm welcome and reply, the car has the factory lip and in the pictures you can see it has the factory aero lip sticking out, which OEM lip do you speak of if you dont mind me asking? Many thanks!
  7. Im hoping the links from photobucket have worked and you all can see the images
  8. Hello ladies and gents, My names Rashed, Im not really new to the forum as I have been lurking around for a little while however I am finally a paid up member and a proud owner of my all time realistic dream car....a MK4 JZA80 Supra and a factory facelift VVTi TT6 car at that. Long story short I've always wanted one since I was very young, not because of the 2jzgte life or the powerhouse it could be built to but just because it looked like nothing else on the road and that excited me in departments I never knew existed within the human body Previous cars: 17 - 2003 E12 Toyota Corolla 1.4 4zzfe vvt-i manual. N/A built to 122bhp from 95bhp with 1zzfe fuel injectors, intake manifold and throttle body, decat exhaust and custom cold air intake with cold air feed. Kept this car for 5 years to build my NCB and the fact that it was a cheap and cheerful car to run and maintain. This was also my most modified car with a lot of handling parts such as shocks and lowering springs, sway bars, bigger brakes, short shift kit, engine mounts etc. 22 - 2000 JZX100 TRD Toyota Chaser 1JZGTE vvt-i R154 manual. Fresh grade 4 import from Japan using Torque GT. This car was to fill the gap between me getting a Supra as I wasn't financially viable to get one at the time but what a car! Slapped on some BC coilovers, Lexus LS400 big brakes and a full decatted blitz nur spec r exhaust with a boost controller along with a Jpipe and BOV delete kit not to forget a Cusco rear top mount brace. This car really exceeded my expectations and was my first proper quickish car I owned for 3 years and I LOVED it! In my eyes it was the 4 door Supra that was affordable with plenty of potential and turned so many heads. Infact I loved it so much that I actually wanted to build a sleeper 450whp 4 door saloon with a hybrid turbo, HPI low mount manifold, stealth black FMIC, aftermarket cams, bigger injectors, fuel pump and an Apexi power fc standalone ecu. I slowly got all the parts together but unfortunately it was rear ended and written off by insurance December last year which is where my hunt began for my next car. 25 - 2000 Jspec JZA80 Toyota Supra VVTi TT6. My dream car. I finally had enough funds and NCB to buy and insure my dream car and also I could afford to run, maintain and mod it slightly as I am in a better position in my life now financially. Daily at 25 - 1993 E10 Toyota Corolla 1.3 4EFE 4 door saloon. Stock car, my A to B car and my work horse. Simple and efficient. Anyway my near future plans are to go full BPU with the twin setup still in place, Ideally I want to see what can be achieved with the stock twin turbo /hybrid setup and build a drivable street car that I can enjoy on a daily basis without completely ruining reliability or durability of engine/transmission components. Any ideas/recommendations/help/advice/thoughts/criticism will all be appreciated and taken into consideration so please feel free to go all out lol I dont bite or get butthurt Hoping to have many years of happy ownership and make new friends on here and anywhere else as I feel the car community is one big happy family that are helpful and outgoing with each other P.s my photo's are apparently too big to attach
  9. They've just recently imported me a year 2000 factory TT6 literally just over a week ago and I cant recommend them enough! Great people to deal with and they also imported me a JZX100 Chaser 3 or so years ago which again was a pleasant process.
  10. Can anyone confirm what size headlamp LED bulbs are needed for a year 2000 facelift J spec car? Low/highbeam and front fog lights. Many thanks, it all seems a minefield to me at the moment. I will be opting for the NightEye brand as I seem to hear good things about them.
  11. Oh thanks for letting me know! So how can I get photos on here? And I will become a suscribed payed member righr away! Thanks again
  12. Hey guys Im new to the forum and thought I would share my car with everyone, its a 2000 TRD Toyota Chaser 1jzgte vvti factory R154 manual. A 4 door Supra with half a 2jz maybe? Haha Hope you guys approve and like the car!
  13. I think Im going to have to go out and try an auto then to see how good it actually is haha Which company do you use Bayden?
  14. Whats the manual mode like if you dont mind me asking? Thanks
  15. No I haven't tried an Auto but I find them so lacking the involvement of driving.
  16. Cheers boys, I dont mind an import if I can get the insurance side of things sorted out I think I've seen that red kne Graham....auto just isnt for me haha but thanks though Thanks for the welcome Shawn So looking at this it seems it will be easier to get hold of a twin turbo manual import?
  17. Well Im 22 and live in a really bad postcode however I have a clean licence and have been driving for 5 years with 5 years NCB. A UK spec Supra costs around 1.5k to insure but an import doubles to 3k haha
  18. So an import will be more achievable with a budget of 10k? Does anyone know any import insurance specialists I can use as most of the quotes I've been getting for imports are ridiculous so far Either way it has to be manual and turbo for me as they are a must and also I do not mind waiting for the right car to come up Cheers Tyson!
  19. Cheers for the reply Mike How much would I need to spend realistically for what Im looking for? Also what is a TT6 JSpec? Thanks in advance!
  20. Hi all, Recently I have discovered it is finally possible for me to own a supra...yay! I'm from the Midlands and I am after a UK spec manual twin turbo supra....cheaper to insure than an import haha I haven's really come across one yet in that spec so I was wondering if you guys could help? Ideally I want one close to stock spec as possible but a few tasty mods wont scare me away The lower the mileage the better but I know these engines are bulletproof so a maintained high miler wont be an issue. Budget is around 10k which I hope is fair. But yeah hoping you guys can point me in the right direction Thanks and looking forward to being an active member as this place seems pretty cool!
