You have got me thinking now. I bought the engine with the knowledge that it was a 2004 engine. But they only made it till the year 2000. It is a very new engine. 2jz. Even the supra was discontinued in 2002. Thanks for that info. I am going to the place were I bought my engine from. I want some money back.

There changing the engines from a 2.4 normally aspirated V8 to a 1.6 V6 turbo with energy recovery instead of kers...and a limited amount of fuel allowed in the car. It is a complete change. Aerodynamics change narrower front wing. Smaller Chassis height, single exhaust pipe, Smaller rear wing box". Totally different. The new regs will make it much more interesting.

The next season of formula 1 is nearly here with new regulations. (Complicated upgrades). Ferrari are due a comeback and mclaren are due a win lol. Would Vettel be any good in another car? What's everyone's thoughts?

I thought you might respect someone who builds a supra for there self and on there own. But it looks like you get other people to build and do things for you. You seem to be the centre of attention on this site but I know you couldn't even change a tyre. BAN!!!!!!!!!!

J. P. I have just put a 2006 2jz soarer engine in a 94 supra and put a LPG conversion on it MYSELF. I'm not a Pratt who sticks lights on stuff, I'm serious about my mods. I thought everyone could see my history, that's why I said it's the best mod I have done.

Well I am new to this site and I have a veilside front bumper. Mine is in Porsche's guard red. Awesome colour. I really like the veilside bumper. Don't be a sheep and say its rubbish like all the other sheep. Sorry for swearing.

Hey everyone. I recently went to a car show and there was a blue saxo with blue neons which got pulled right at the side of me. I overheard the traffic cop specifically say they are legal but NOT in red or blue. My little tiny dinosaur brain immediately started to think about putting some white neons on my car and I have and honestly don't regret it they are the best mod I have done to my car lol. Just saying ha ha ha.

Hey all. Every time I start my car my revs are at 2000. After a minute or so it's running a normal 900 like a Swiss watch. What's with the high revs on start up?????

Supra trying to overheat and heater blowing cold

100% this is a pressure leak coming from your hose or hose clamps. When water heats it expands and causes pressure and that pressure is leaking and pissing coolant out somewhere. Don't put £20 worth of coolant in till you find the leak. Find the leak fix the problem then put dear stuff in. I had the same problem and it turned out to be the hose In between the window and the back of the engine in line with the spark plugs right at the back. If it is air tight you don't have to bleed the system on a mkiv supra. -

Hey all. I have had a turbo and a non turbo and now I'm replacing my n/a engine and I am really interested in a LPG conversion because my mate has a conversion on his 4.0 V8 land cruiser and He gets 40-50 miles to the gallon. (Omg) I really want some of that action, has anyone on this forum tried it or know someone who has and what it entails. To be honest I'm not bothered if it effects performance I just want my beautiful supra to do more miles to the gallon.
