  1. No adaptor for the tps it's a straight plug in, I'll ask him now what Ecu it is.
  2. Hi all, My mate lol has a code 31 & 41 on his 95 supra, it was a non turbo but has been converted to a single turbo, he's put on a polished inlet with a reverse tps but now has 31 & 41 codes and its hunting massively, Does anyone know if the reverse tps is plug and play or does it need wires swapping and how does he set it up? Any help would be great, Thanks, Phil.
  3. By cutting the pipe and fitting one of them alloy pipes with a sensor hole in? Is there no other way of tapping in to the engine?
  4. Lol I should have put WATER temp, I've sorted the oil temp and pressure.
  5. Hi all, I'm looking at fitting a temp gauge on my 95 non turbo (the 2jz with the Y inlet over the engine) but where can I put the temp sensor? Thanks for any replies, Phil.
  6. Managed to get to the lockup today, and it turns out I had all of the plugs on the wrong injectors, 1 and 2 had 4 and 3 plugs on 2 and 3 had 2 and 1 plugs on 5 and 6 were the wrong way round, Big thanks to ZELLIOT for the pic that sorted it out And thanks for the link to the loom tape harrypm82 Phil.
  7. Hey that looks real good, I've just ordered it, thanks very much for the link
  8. Thanks, I'll check when I get to the lockup, I'm pretty sure I know the 2 plugs at the back of the engine go on 5 and 6 injector as they are too short for anywhere else, just not sure which one goes on which injector, grey or brown?
  9. Hi all, I've been tidying up my wiring loom with black insulation tape as it was very tatty, but I have now forgot which plugs go on which injector, it's a mkiv non turbo with the Y inlet that goes over the top of the engine, and the plugs are brown and grey, Can any one please let me know what the colour of the wires going to each injector plugs are? Thank you for any advise, Phil.
  10. Hi all, I am building a mk2 escort with a 2jz engine in, I have it running but I would like to tidy up the vacuum pipes and tank at the rear under the intake manifold, I believe the engine was an Na originally with the y intake across the engine but now has a single t61 turbo with front mount i/c Can anyone give me a few hints or point me in the right direction of a link of how to remove the vacuum tank and pipes that's not neede please, Any help would be great, thanks, Phil.
  11. What happened to this thread, it was looking good, it must be close to Finnish now?
  12. Anyone help please? It's an Na-t 2jz I'm just after the other end location of the 3 pipes I've numbered in the pic, Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease
  13. Hi all, Im newish to the supra seen, and now after a bit of messing in the engine bay I have forgot where a few of my vacuum pipes go, here is a pic before, I need to know where the other ends go lol, Any help would be great, I might then get a good nights sleep, Thanks, Phil.
  14. What I have noticed is the odometer isn't working, the ignition light on it are real dim too, any suggestion why anyone? Thanks, Phil.
  15. Hey no worries, sounds like you got your hands full, like i said, thanks very much, I would never found that earth under the inlet, I'm going to forget them wires now, there abviously not needed to start it, here's a little vid for ya, and remember the body work is next :-D
  16. All up and running nicely, in the end it was the pump only priming on turn over (I was listening for prime on ignition) and earth under the inlet that was hidden (thanks CHRIS WILSON) and the distributor wires not on correctly, sounds sweet now :-) No need to find where them pesky wires go, thanks for all the suggestions, I'll be back soon to show you my progress ;-) Thanks again everyone, Phil.
  17. Well I got a fire or two and a few back fires but no running yet :-(
  18. Hi, Im having a little trouble finding where these plugs go, there located on the passenger side kick panel on the junction box where the heater fan is, i know the white plug goes at the top of the box but dont know about the 3 black ones, any help would be great, ive found a few pics off the internet of where they are but just cant see where the other ends go, I need to find a home for them asap please :-) Thanks, Phil.
  19. This is the wire Please find a home for these homeless plugs, Thanks, Phil.
  20. I've been doing a little searching and found this pic, from what I can see the plug i kep going on about :-D plugs into the white box, what is that white box called and what does it do, Thanks, Phil.
  21. That would be great, thanks very much, I think the brown wires were for the heater so what ever it was for, it was close to the blower, I don't know If it was a relay attached to the heater that the plug came off, I'll get it sorted one day :-)
  22. To make sure I went out and checked, I have a ground with 2 white/black wires under the inlet along with 2 other black earths on the same bolt, the engine light is on too, so I'm guessing its earthed ok? When the ignition is switched on I get a click (on then off i think) from 1 of the 2 black relays together on the drivers side in the engine bay, is that right? And finally chris can you tell me where the black plug with the blue/red and white/black wires in the picture goes pleeeeeeease :-D
  23. Thanks very much matey, I'll get there in the end :-D
  24. Hhhmm that rule the pump ecu out then, i did wonder as i held the ecu in all angles and got no differents, im pretty sure that all the grounds are onin the engine bay loom, is there 2 on the underside of the inlet? Thanks, Phil.
  25. Update is that I can't remember what angle the fuel pump ecu is ment to be for the switch to know its the right way :-( In the mean time has anyone got the answer for the blue/red and white wired black plug problem? Thanks, Phil.
