  1. Thanks Mattdavies, The setup is:- single turbo conversion Plug on coil pack gte Ecu with G-reddy performance piggyback ecu standard injectors hks boost controller there is a fuel/air ratio meter that is working, but I can’t follow the wire from the top sensor to find out where it goes. the Ecu was changed recently as I went plug on coils, I needed the gte Ecu to run them, but that sensor has always been there, im only asking because I have an o2 error sensor but i got a new one a few months to try and get rid of the error code, it never worked
  2. Hi everyone, Can anyone tell me what the sensor is on the top of the downpipe, I’ve searched for o2 sensor and none of them are the same as this single wire sensor, any help would be appreciated, thanks, phil.
  3. Hi, I have a ge-t that has some error codes and desperately need help to sort them please, the errors are codes are:- 14 21 31 47 im running a single turbo, an after market alloy inlet, bigger throttle body with reversed tps, plug and play coil on packs through a gte Ecu and the blue g-reddy performance piggyback Ecu, any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks very much, phil.
  4. Well after some further investigation into plug 1A I find out that it was plugged into the hole above in the 1F socket and over 1 row, I have no clue when that was miss placed, all fixed now and not a single repair to a wire at all, thanks again mc92
  5. Oh wow thanks very much for the link, I should be able to sort it now, a massive thanks again to you mc92
  6. Thanks for the reply, do you think it’s a relay on the fuse board?
  7. Hi everyone, i had a problem a few years ago with a loom I cut through, long story short I thought I put it all back together correctly but my indicators are not working correctly, I put the ignition on and the left front comes on constantly, I’ve looked on the wiring diagrams and need to know where the 2 grey blocks in the pic are and where they are located, I can then take a wire from them to the bulb and hopefully that will solve the issue, any help would be great, thanks in advance, phil,
  8. Thanks very much for the reply with links, I’ll look into it a bit more and decide what I’m doing, thanks very much again phil.
  9. Hi, im thinking of doing a distributor delete on my 2jz ge-t so I can garentee the spark and to make it cleaner looking, is there any links of people that have done it themselves on a budget? ive seen the kits that are available but funds are tight so I want to do the build myself, any help would be great, thanks very much, phil.
  10. And golden it is, just been round and swapped them, it's running beautifully now, revs up with no problem, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for all the help, it was really quite simple in the end but it took you guys to figure it out, Thanks very much again, Phil.
  11. I have already swapped the 5v and ground, I'm not sure I tried swapping the middle 2 round at the same time, I'll give it a go tomorrow, surely that is right, at idle it's seeing a low voltage so it will idle ok but when it's rev'd it sees higher volts but flicks over to idle in the sensor and gets confused making it rev wrong, If it's not that, I'll give up lol, I'll update tomorrow, Thanks very much ballsdeep and nodalmighty, Phil.
  12. Not bouncing but if I keep my foot half way down on the pedal, it will rev up and drop every second or so?
  13. The saga continues, We checked the voltage again this morning and it went from 2.3v -19v how that's possible I don't know, unless there's something wrong with my multi meter, The volts are ok now the wires are swapped over, closed it reads 1.35v open it reads 5.08v it's ok on tick over BUT it's won't rev up, it starts hunting, let off the throttle and it's fine again on tick over, It still has codes 31 and 41 Does leaving the battery off over night reset the Ecu? Thanks, Phil.
  14. Thanks very much for that, I'll get back on it tomorrow, he's gone out now, I'm sure I can sort it out with the info you gave me, Thanks once again for all the advise, I'll update tomorrow, Phil.
  15. Another update, I've had a look with my mate, we found that on tick over it's fine but when rev'd it started hunting, I swapping the 2 end one round (5v and negative) but that never did anything, I found that it was reading 4.98 closed and went down as the butterfly opened, I tried swapping a few more over but it's still the same, I did find that when the tps plug was off it would rev properly? Any ideas what to do next? Thanks again, Phil.
  16. Ah I see, I'll pop round now and let you know what I find, Thanks very much again, Phil.
  17. Is it the IDL and the E2 pins?
  18. Hmm sounds like a plan, I have read somewhere about swapping over some wires but not for a supra, Which wires am I looking a, the 2 middle ones? Or the 5v with which wire? Thanks, Phil.
  19. Just been round to his house again, checked the wires and the vc has 5.08v and the negative is also good, so I tried the stock tps once more and it was the same until I turned the tick over down on the new throttle body and the revs evened out and sounded correct, I rev'd the stock throttle body with the stock tps and the new throttle body at the same time and the revs went up spot on, So it's all down to the reverse tps on the new throttle body, will that need mapping or is there a way round it? Thanks very much for the help so far guys, he's cheered up a bit now, Phil.
  20. Obviously with the ignition on.
  21. He's in now so I'll get him to check, is it just a case of unplugging it and checking for 5v?
  22. Ok quick update, We both checked all around the inlet for any trapped wires, there is Defo no trapped wires, We had the battery off all night to reset the Ecu and fitted a stock tps (just to try) but the codes were still there and it was still hunting, Nodalmighty what do you mean the 5v sensors? Thanks, Phil.
  23. If he's not trapped a wire, what else can he look for, Thanks again, Phil.
  24. He said it has what he thinks is the stock Ecu and a blue greedy E-management ecu next to it, It's a after market plenum with a 90mm throttle body, the tps came with the throttle body so runs reveres too, It was running ok till he changed the inlet, I'll get him to look see if he's trapped a wire but he's not home till later, Thanks very much again for the replies, Phil.
  25. Should have mentioned the tps came with the throttle body, so runs reveres too.
