1. That would be fantastic mate, ill make sure i'm about lol was speaking to a guy the other week with a GT4 (black and green, used to live down by highlands boulevard) who said you took him out in it and it was great (y) happy to oblige if it gives you more supra driving time
2. I found it on piston heads mate, i can understand that but its not like any of it actually works? also i was under the impression that all WRC models were 94's which makes them all prefacelift? though i may be wrong. they do come up occasionally at a steal, guess its just a waiting game the same with supras
3. I had given up looking and was going to save up for a tt conversion and then this popped up on a random search, incredibly cheap too, is there a particular reason you want a WRC model?
4. its all personal preference at the end of the day, if we were all the same it would be boring wouldn't it, ill be sure to keep and eye out on Sunday, would still be great to take you up on your offer of a ride in it at some point when you are free, and I remember you saying about the rebuild, will definitely be keeping an eye on your thread about it. A Southend meet would be great, id be up for that for sure
5. Thank you, was nice to see yours out again the other week and yeah i have been out in it 24/7 haha loving the turbo club I added that lol but yeah its personal preference, to be fair in that picture it doesn't look as good as the angle its viewed in real life. cheers mate hopefully see yours about when this awful weather is over
6. Just a thank you for the people who helped on the initial thread (http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?326454-Anybody-owned-a-Celica-GT4-(ST205)) and those who helped when i had an issue on the way home (http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?327709-Please-help ) Appreciate the help on both threads and the input on the first one definitely helped when going to look at the one i bought so here she is 1994 Celica GT4 86K miles, engine is stock except the BOV, has had the superstrut suspension replaced fully 8K miles ago along with a folder of other bills. currently stripped with two bucket seats and harnesses but have the full interior in mint condition in the garage. Just put 4 brand new tires on and replaced all the disks and pads, plans will be to retrim and put the interior back in (bar the seats), sort out the sound system and maybe in the summer decat and boost controller to raise the boost but its more than adequate for now, there is bodywork needed but for now its polished up well enough so can focus on the mechanical side of things first
7. I got a DAS 6 pro 2 weeks ago and couldn't recommend it enough, being a compete newbie did this with my Celica this was done with meguiars 105 and 205
8. Same scenario I'm in with removing rear windows tints, I found soaking it then applying some to a microfibre and applying light pressure and rubbing worked best but still took nearly 3 hours to clear a rear window
9. I have used tar remover (autoglym from halfords was about £6) to great success, just need to apply it then let it settle then using some more on a microfibre and it should come off. Have just de tinted a window this way

Please help

Ill have a chat with my local mechanic (member on here) as i have literally nothing to flush it with or any form of pump to do it properly and yes i know, its my fault for not doing it myself but as his age the expectancy for him to be able to read a cap that said engine oil should have been in his capabilities and to be honest I just wanted to get out the services and enjoy driving it home, nice and ironic that is, thanks Chris I don't suppose you happen to make your fast road pads for the gt4?

Do you recon it would be safe to drive home safely ? Babying it the whole journey and no boost at all ? Horrible first drive for my first turbo car hAha bit do you redo it would be okay? Read online that it should be in a limp mode too so should be safe? Thanks for your help guys, best forum by far

Please help

Managed to find its code 54 which is related to the charge cooler, hopefully it's just the fluid level was messed up when we tried to remove the oil

There is oil in it now whereas before it was low and no idea, have nothing with us and can't find anything in the services that I can use to bridge the connection, literally drove it 40 miles and this has happened [emoji35]

Please help

Just picked up a gt4 and needed oil and my genius father put it in the charge cooler instead of the engine oil, put about 100ml in but now the engine light has come on. I'm stuck at a services about 100 miles from home. Any help greatly appreciated!!
19. Thank you, hopefully something will turn up, cheers for all your help
20. Thank you, as far as I'm aware the Ibiza has the same engine? Along with the golf? And that's sounds idea except the colour but thank you for looking, very considerate Iv got my heart set on either a black, red or white car as have got into detailing and love the finish Iv got on my mums black Audi and would love to do the same kind of thing as my current car and the supra are silver with thin enough paint as it is
21. Was kinda hoping to improve mpg as that's about what I'm averaging but rwd would be a nice compromise I guess, I'm horribly fussy so appreciate all the help [emoji106] does anyone have experience with the 1.8T? Will be sure to look at a rx8 and the other Ibiza though
22. I'll look into it, sounds like the more expensive option? But thanks guys for some researching to do this weekend [emoji106]
23. ^my fear, although there must be good ones out there?
24. Will definetly look into that although must admit the rotary engine is a worry but that's probably just the stigma surrounding them, thanks
