exactly what I told myself with the carbon fuse box lid and the arm rest......that was 6 months ago
-
GUYS STAY AWAY. I have experience buying the the CF parts from the company in china that makes those. These used to be sold by a carbon parts company in the uk that I will not mention and have the most horrible fitment I have ever seen. I personally purchased a full replacement dash kit just like that 2 years ago for my silvia s14 at the price of £300 and none and i mean NONE of the mounts fit and some just weren't even there. The parts are made from mounts created from the oem pieces so they fit fine, but there is just no way of attaching the panels that require clips or sometimes even screws. I also bought a fuse box cover and arm rest for my r33 gtr. The fuse box lid did not fit the oem clips and none of the holes for the armrest lined up and there was no mounting point for the release switch. Would not even sell these parts on as they would not fit on anyone else's car. Had to bin them. The finish on the carbon is also mediocre at best and the lacquer used is cheapest of the cheap.....and will turn white/cloudy in contact with sun light within a year or 2. In the end I had to skin all the oem panels and nothing fits or looks better. Sorry about the rant guys, but I don't want anyone to waste their hard earned like I did with these. The bits that Paul sells will fit no problem

oil cap PorN. keep the original packaging mate. Your silver one looks pristine!!
-
Yeah he would never. Just trying to scrub the skepticism off here. Cant wait to put mine on! It's gonna look sexy to go with my gold bbs wheels. Glad I bought 2 when I got the chance!

Westy you should snap a pic of the gold and your silver one side by side and the back view as well? Just to get a good look? I had one on my chaser and it looks real to me
-
Can't wait to open mine! Gorgeous cap. Paul is full of surprises

Not sure how you would hide it from view. I know the straight cusco ones are lower profile but still very visible.

Unfortunately I am set the leave for Hong Kong at the beginning of June to visit my relatives there and to dust off my cars including my new supra am hoping to see pictures that some of the members may post up on here from the show. I assume you will be there? I have never actually been.

Did you get the carbon armrest from Paul? -
-
Yeah it was mate. The car was at a 70 degree angle and the front bumper missed a vw golf coming the other way by a couple of feet. Added a few pics of the damage the new owner did.

The bit about aquaplaning is so true. Had that happen to me when I was driving my now sold jzx100 Chaser on a day of biblical rainfall. My rear tires went over a shallow puddle and being 'Kumho' lost traction and I started sliding from left to right in the middle of a 2-way motorway during rush hour. Anyone that has been to Hong kong will know how busy the streets are during that time of day. The car had so much torque being a 400 BHP drift car that this happens even on a dry road. Almost went into the incoming traffic on the opposite side of the road and a 3 foot thick concrete barrier on the other. I let my foot off the throttle and the car straighten itself out. Caused quite a scene and luckily there was no police around. At the time I had just gotten my license and still had my (L plate in the UK) or P plate in HK and was inexperienced with high powered rwd cars. So please be extra careful and follow the advice on this thread if you are new to driving a car of such nature. The guy i sold the chaser to wasn't careful and wrote it off within 2 weeks of buying it from me, also on a rainy day. I really regret selling that car to this day. It was the only yr 2000 genuine 5 speed MT JZX100 Tourer V in the city used by Top Gear when the tour came in 09 for the drift demo, So be aware when driving your pride and joy. Thanks for the read.

The seats are called Brix II from the Bride line up. I was lucky enough to get them with the car, but I believe that mine might be a limited edition as it comes in real leather and red stitching and the cushions aren't the typical 'bride' pattern/plain black. Hope this helps. Heres a link: http://www.hondaperformanceparts.co.uk/Bride_Seats/BRIDE_BRIX_II_Reclining_Seat_Gradiation/ I personally like the Bride Gias as seen in my inspirational supra

hi im new also....I bought mine in Hong Kong as that is where I live over the holidays.
-
Looks just like the driveway of the house I lived in growing up:cool: clean supra btw also looking to install full ridox on mine
-
Always had a soft spot for scoobies. Especially the blob eye. Came close to buying a fully built Blob eye twinscroll turbo STI, but bought my supra instead the day it came up for sale I'm also new here but welcome!

Don't we all i'll keep an eye on the progress of your build
-
Very true! It gives the car a more aggressive look but stays true to the oem lines and keeps the car looking clean. Your project took a pretty wild turn as I can see great job with those arches mate!
-
You spend you holidays there as well? Yes all the ones I have seen aren't stick shift or aeros. The most awesome one i've seen is the one built by the local tuner top racing

Thanks for the welcome guys! The ridox kit is next on my list( but am tempted to keep the j-blood front end as it's the only one in Hong Kong). At least that is the plan so far
