  1. Plastidip could be pretty good alternative for repainting the whole car, but you need to laquer it after plasti-dip. IMHO black mat is the worst option
  2. Amazing! Can you post some DIY tutorial?

    Hello!

Welcome to da real world of adrenaline
  4. No problems guys, I know that VVTi conrods are weaker. The question was about the pistons, see first post. And as the engine is already bolted together and hope tomorrow it will start.
  5. Somewhere I red that VVT-i conrods can hold up to 550-600hp. So then it's not a problem for my build, I will stop at ~400hp... I hope
  6. Little update: Engine is collected together with VVT-i NA bottom + oem GTE head gasket + nonVVT-i NA head. Engine looks to be OK. Next week my LHD conversion will be finished and engine will finaly start.
  7. I got 550cc injectors from 300zx low impedance. Do they fit to fuel rail? And how much hp can hold oem jspec injectors?
  8. Hi guys! Unfortunately I got my 2JZ-GE bottom end dead - oil and coolant emulsion did their job. Only spare engine what I could get was from GS300 2JZ-GE VVT-i. My plan is to leave everything from VVT-i bottom end (block, pistons, conrods) and put on non-VVT-i cylinder head with oem GTE head gasket. But I mentioned that VVT-i pistons are with different relief - smaller grooves for valves. non-VVT-i VVT-i Also I have questions about injectors and fuel pump!? Is it possible to leave oem J-spec NA fuel pump and injectors if I plan to raise the power till ~400hp? Thanks!
  9. Nice build! Is this car street legal, rool-cages are road legal in UK?
  10. Definetely some aftermarket alarm or something like that.
  11. I've done AC delete, no problem for that, can save some weight but can't see a reason for PS deleting, not much to save.
  12. Yep, in weekend measured with tensioner in both postiotions and there is play between 182-189cm. And I used Contitech 6PK1865
  13. Can anybody know precise length of serpentine belt for 2JZ-GE J-spec without A/C? Everywhere is different sizes and opinions. Some say that GE and GTE belts are different sizes. Please help!
  14. Actualy I hate those suggestions when someone sends me to somewhere. I need numbers not store names I'm not sure that seller at part store will know exact size and fitting profile.
  15. Yes, I'm from Latvia, but it doesn't matter, Car is 93. J-Spec NA. I'm converting it right now to LHD and need to replace front brake lines. I forgot at home a sample to show in parts store.
  16. Just made a search thru topic but can't find a correct brake line diameter and fitting model/number. Please some one can tell these number. I want to buy a new copper lines and fittings and bent them.
  17. I dont know how much you paid for that car, but in US is one of the markets where you can buy reasonably cheap an LHD Supra. So try to sell your car in Canada or brake it in parts
  18. It's sad that I can't post in "wanted" section. I urgently need rear brake vents and RH/drivers side mirror. Maybe someone is braking some car in parts?
  19. Thanks Tony TT! Now I have question about the exhaust gas temperature sensor. Wire of the sensor is corroded off, it's neccesary to change it or maybe I can try to repair wiring? Hope it's not affecting on power.
  20. Hello to everyone! I'm new member and Supra driver from Eastern Europe - Latvia. Just a month ago I bought my dream car JZA80. Car is a NA 5spd manual, previously camed from Japan trough UK to Latvia. There was done a RHD to LHD conversion. Previous owner is an ass, the car was in really bad shape. Now I'm trying to restore it to OEM look and soon to NA-T. There is lots of missing parts, OEM dashboard, saloon plastics, engine pan, rear brake wents etc.
