Hey all, Thanks for all the great comments... No, not had a re spray. But just come out of the bodyshop... this is what was done... All 4 wheels refurbished Front bumper and active spoiler re sprayed Boot lid re sprayed Rear bumper polished and scratches taken out All dents removed wing mirrors re sprayed Headlights sanded and polished Prior to this, it was in the garage and had new clutch, wheel hub, 4 x tyres, service etc. So, spent a fair bit just recently, there are a couple of things im going to do to the interior soon which include; Front seats being re trimmed in black leather Dash covered in Carbon by Dave New dials Chrome dials for the speedo panel That should be enough to keep me going for the time being.... :o) Thanks again

Sounds good about the dials... Sorry to steer away from your thread, but where did you install the light dimmer thing, or did you connect it to the orignal dimmer already built into the dash ??

Looks amazing !!! Did your speedhut dials fit straight over the orignals or did you have to remove the needles ???? and they post ok to the UK ?? I want some new dials, but too scared to remove the needles !!! lol

Ah yes..... the fog light...... I would but......I presume my 2 options are...... get a UK bumper or fill and re spray whole bumper. Both are very costly, just to get rid of a little light.... But yeah, do agree, it would look much better without it........

Hey all, Well, Ive owned my supra for about 2 months now, Its been in the garage and had loads of work done and its also been in my local body shop and had loads of work done. Got it back this morning, so thought i'd post up some pics for you all for the first time.......

Hmmm, couldnt quite see exactly at that time... pitch black... lol... all i saw was that it was black.... I was on the other side in my van.... Are any of you guys from Brokehall ? I saw a M reg black supra parked round there the other week ???

Thanks for the info guys... Toyota didnt stock em. Ill try allfix in Claydon, its only about 10 mins from me. Thanks Aero-M. Ill also try Screwfix... Yeah, i took all bolts and screws out the other week, top bolts come straight out, bottom screws were a little harder, but came out just using a screw driver... I guess im one of the lucky ones... lol Thanks again people....

Hi all, Does anyone know where i can get 4 x new screws to hold in the bottom rubbers... The rubbers I bought from Toyota didnt come with the screws. I know some people on here have replaced the screws all together with something else, is there any advice what to replace with and where from, can I get some screws / bolts from B&Q or something ? if so, is there a particular size i need to buy, or do i just match it as close as i can to the ones i have... ? Cheers

Hey all, Few weeks ago i had a problem with my clutch,(posted a message on here). Cut a long story short, thought i'd let you all know the outcome and an update. Took it to my local garage and said to check the whole car and do whatever needs doing.... So, here we go.... New clutch kit New exhaust rubbers and clamps Rear wheel hub (from Toyota) Rear wheel bearing kit (from Toyota) 6 x wheel nuts Abs sensor.... or something ? Aux belt 4 x Tyres - 235/45/17 Fronts 255/40/17 Rears Cheap makes Accessories - Oil etc etc etc. and the total bill was...................... £1307.00 Took it into my Brother in laws friends body shop on Monday to have the following: 4 alloys, completely refurbished and re-sprayed All dents to be knocked out and repaired. All scrathes to be polished out etc etc Front bumper re-sprayed Rear bumper re-sprayed Hopefully should have it back on Friday..... Cant wait to see what it looks like !!!

Upper and lower... Whats the cheapest price for all four ? Looked on Whifbitz, £18 postage though.....making them about £40 ??? Sent Paul PM, but had not reply... ebay, almost £45 for all four with postage.... Phoned my local Toyota direct, £32 all in and pick em up tomorrow !!

Had a search but not much detailed info came up.... Is there a correct / good way of attaching oem spats ? I have some fitted, but they are coming away... I was going to take them off and re-fit them. I am aware there are several screws, but how do you get them to fit flat against the bumper... Do you use tiger seal or something, if so, how would you hold / keep pressed into place untill set ? Any help would be appreciated....

I had this thought the other day...... What about one of those gazebo things..... I saw some the other day, they were 4.5m x 3m with 4 sides that can be zipped on and off..... made with steel tubing construction and waterproof....on the base of the legs they had a plate with holes in, so could be anchored pretty good into the ground... Thought about putting one up in the back garden, to act like a garage, drive straight in..... But not sure about the rain etc, would this biuld up on the roof and "sag" down and collapse it !! ?? Any thoughts ?

Hey all, A few things.... Just thinking out aloud really..... How much roughly am i looking for my supra to be prepared and completely re-sprayed in a stock colour ? On a similair note: how much am i looking at to have just the front and rear bumpers doing ? Has anyone had their wheels refurbed.... completely... shot blasted.. ? if so again, how much roughly per wheel ? Anyone know somewhere in the suffolk area that can be trusted to take on this work ? Hey all, Searched the forum, couldnt find anything... My 1995 NA Import is in my local garage for some work... It needs a new rear n/s wheel hub. Garage seems to be having problems getting one... My questions to you guys... Does anyone know if these can be bought from Toyota ? Can these be bought from motor factors ? Are the wheel hubs on mine the same as UK spec ? Does anyone know how much to expect to pay ? My car has the uk bigger brakes on, does this make any effect with the hub ? TIA

Ok, Thanks so much for your help.... The £160 was for Falkens... so, nothing special.... I think i will save some money and go with the 255's on the rear and stick to the standard fronts. Thanks again...

Various places on the net, but having said that, i have now found some for £160 inc everything.... cant seem to find anything in stock for much less inc fitting etc etc...

Wow, Thanks guys for the quick replies... I guess i should have mentioned, the price was inc fitting etc... Not too sure what the width of the actual wheel is... they are the Uk spec toyota 17" and its a NA. So, if i can put 255's on the back... not being funny, but why would someone change them to 275 and make them more expensive, lol.... how much difference will the back tyres look from behind going from 275 to 255 ?? TIA

Hey all, I need some new tyres for the old beast... fronts: 235/45/17 rears: 275/40/17 The cheapest i can find for the rears is about £192.00 each... Is there any where i can get cheaper ones ? or can i change the tyre size on the rears to something a bit cheaper ? I dont know much about tyres etc, do i have to keep the width to 275 ? Any help would be much appreciated.

Hey all, This is my first post.... Ok, picked up my first ever Supra about a week ago. Import, 1995 Non turbo. Absolutely love it, but had a bad experience today... Only covered about 50 miles since buying it.... So, today, went out as normal, had covered about 20 miles, pulled up at some lights, put it into neutrel. Lights go green and....... cant put it into any gear.... the clutch pedal seemed fine, felt normal, but just wouldnt get into any gear... 2 nice people pushed me from the lights, but as i was rolling, it managed to go into gear, off i went, completely fine... about 5 mins later, arrived home and have noticed now since that problem, that when pulling away or reversing, the car kind of shakes and judders when you go to pull away..... actual driving seems ok and selecting gear is ok. Any help would be much appreciated... could this be my clutch or gearbox ? I have no idea.... please help... TIA Linconhawk.
