  1. I'd like too hit up a Sheffield meet, being pretty local an all!
  2. Harsh. And he did boot it. 54 plate S3. But it was wet and he span. Not complaining I hooked. A drop is a drop.

  4. Good cars. Boots are a little lacking. But what do you expect in a 3dr sports car. Rear leg room is non existant behind the driver. Espescially if you have legs. My legs are only 31" at 6ft and there is about 2-3" of leg room behind me driving comfortably. I'd consider looking elsewhere if you've got kids. No kids, enjoy it! Lovely cars even the nas can take most things if your so inclined. (Na auto here and left a s3 from the line yesterday.) Drivability is down too the owner though. If you have the ability the car will keep going and begging for more.

    Found this.

Because it's a 11k tt-t auto. I'd think that was high. Look about and you can get a single 6 for that.
  6. Learner cover. Fully applicable and totally transferable.
  7. Got a great deal recently. Supra NA auto at 20years old with Admiral including euro and trackday plus breakdown cover for 1600 and change. 1 year full license and 3 years ncb. Mods declared too. 15000miles per year expected. And as a guideline my previous cars went Rover 1.4x2 (learner cars) Mondeo MK3 Petrol 1.8 lx manual and 2.0 Ghia X auto Jaguar X Type 2.5awd petrol SE with mods declared BMW E46 323ci SE with mods declared Yes there are a number of cars for the timescale but the rovers and Mondeos were just specups and the Jaguar was a need for a better winter car last year. So I cant fault them on the service and also recieved euro breakdown cover too for £35!
  8. As above.. looking too convert into a single turbo auto. Been looking for a header but cant find anything that looks brilliant. Was debating on a TT swap but I can't see the logic if the end goal is a big single. Looking too run mid too high 400bhp after the swap. Advice and guideline costs please would be appreciated. Car is a j spec auto with a solid motor.
  9. As above really. Looking into a NA T conversion. Not really considered a TT swap as I'm after mid 3-400 bhp as a guideline. Basically not too sure about what headers would be best and mean the least adjustment of other parts. The car is a J Spec auto NA so advice on how suitable the existing (as I know it) standard clutch will cope.

  11. Cheers guys nice too define these things! And no.. I left my car running too take the pic. It was only 5 30 this morning! I'm not a fan of waking people up haha.
  12. Hi guys, been on here a bit.. Not really talked alot. Got a new Supra sorted out and bought. Lots of looking and being let down etc.. Finally found a good clean J-Spec. It's a NA-Auto. As it made sense for me, didn't see any premium increase over my BMW that I had before either! I'm looking for a little info regarding the bodykit.. I'm unsure as too the bodykit on the car, I can't really tell if it's custom or Facelift. Took a few pictures this morning as I woke up early. Went too one of my local photo spots (Elsecar Heritage Centre) for the pictures and found a Red Supra on the way there. Took a photo with mine on the way back! If it's a members on here I hope it's not a problem taking a picture of your car, if it is then message me and I'll happily take it off. No interior pics as yet. Got a few things too sort out. It has one of those weird dash sticker things on that I want too remove. Might go too a few local Supra meets too! Wheels are Team Dynamics Motorsports if anyone is wondering. I'm open too offers on selling them.. Would want Black wheels back though and they need a respray. No kerb rash. Exhaust is a Powerflow full system. - - - Updated - - - Also she does have a Supra decal for the boot coming. A TRD one also as they look good IMO.
  13. As above guys.. A curiosity as I have some ideas. Wondered if I can fit a snap off steering wheel kit too a standard steering wheel for a Supra and somehow retain the existing airbag and its usefulness. I dont mind wiring a plug in too connect too loom too the bag when the wheel is fitted. Only question is is it plausable.
  14. I'll take a good look around at insurance and see what I can get then. If the Supra is too much I've been offered a Mk 4 GT4 Celica that needs some work(alot, it's been sat a while outside) for next too nothing. I reckon insurance will be cheaper on that.
  15. Roughly what's the difference on insuring a UK to a import do you know please? I'm up for spending the money on the right car, but if I'm honest I'm the type to modify something when I get it.
  16. I could be intrested in that, I'm just not super keen on another Auto.
  17. Ahh, so would I be better getting a Import then? I'm not set on 6 speed, I thought they were cheaper than 5 to be honest which is why I said it. I figure my insurance won't be too good but I've got other vehicles I can put in the same company if it'll make a discount. Are there any reccomended insurers besides Sky and CCI? I'm up for paying insurance of upto 8.5-9k if the price difference of the car worth the insurance saving on a UK/import. I'm currently driving a '00 Mercedes CLK 2.3 Auto Kompressor and paying 4k Fully comp.
  18. Hi guys, I've been lurking about on here for a while and I'm looking at buying a Supra. I've looked at threads and the opinion seems that a UK non-import is better to insure than a import. I'd like a 6 speed TT hardtop. Ideally stock. I'm not sure how much I should be spending on a stock/minor modded one. I'm 19 and I do have the income/savings to insure it aslong as I'm not paying something like 10k! I have 2 years NCD and live in a low risk area too. I'm also wondering what exactly makes a 2JZ into a 2JZ. I've not been able to find any answers online though. Any advice that can be given would be greatly appreciated. I've seen quite a few Autos for sale for around £2,500-£3,500 with good mileage. I can't decide how much more I should pay for a manual. Thanks guys!
