  1. Mine is a L reg NA, In all seriousness you wouldn't want it as it needs to have the wheels refurbed and a bit of paintwork sorted atm.

I just read the thread link I sent you and sadly that car has gone (bargain too)

  2. If you buy an NA they are all imports and most wont have service history until

they get to this country or have provable mileage

It would pay you to get some insurance quotes on these as i just priced up

an NA and it was nearly £500 compared to £300 i paid on my UK tt

This! It was ironic to find that a UK twin turbo is considered cheaper to insure than a NA.

Have a look around as there are some great cars up for sale here and you may find yourself wiser to save a tiny bit more and get a TT.

Oh and welcome to the club too.

  3. Graham1984 - all of your bits can be completed whilst your car is with me, should you wish :)

Thanks for the kind offer Christian but I will be having to do bits in stages when I can raise the cash as sadly the bonnet needs a bit of attention too along with the stone chips before I can get it detailed by you :(

  4. Measage to lee and John. The misses said you guys are "@&£);)£; as now I want to go single lol nice to see you all big thanks to lee for taking me out and a thank you to John for the trial rear that he's selling me :-) hahahahaha

You mean that trial rear I just paid him £200 for?

Nice to meet a few more of you. Just stay twin for now Lee. We all know you'll be selling it again in 6 months for a 1.8 Focus... ;)

Graham will buy it off you though! :D

Graham has to save up just to be upgraded from tramp to poor atm.

  5. I have a manifold decat and 2nd decat and one of Paul Whiffin's twin box catback exhausts and it keeps the noise well in check. Get a mines ecu too if you are lucky enough to find one.

The only downside to all this is that by the time you buy and fit all this stuff for a few £££'s extra you could of had a auto TT sadly, not that I would ever be silly enough to do this :sly:
