  1. I've kinda asked all them questions...he was trying to get me to go with a 10 front and 11 rear...and promised a perfect fit and that he never had any issues with those sizes on supras before....but i pulled it back to 9.5 because i didnt feel the need for a 10 on the front and if he though a 10 was ok a 9.5 would give me that little bit more scope..
  2. Cheers mate....i hope they do fit nicely....there costing enough....any recommended tires...forgot to mention the cars only bpu at the min
  3. The company making them has done loads of supras so he uses his custom offsets for all standard supras...i have asked him but hes on holidays at the min so hasnt got back to me yet with the offsets he is using.
  4. Just orderd my new rims today .. they are custom rims so i dont know the offsets but they are 18x9.5 front and 18x 11 rear and are going on a standard bodied prefacelift (no rolled arches either)...just a question on the tyre size i need..i have seen the quides on sizes on here but am i jumping the gun by trying to order tires before the wheels come as i dont know the offset so that makes it harder to judge the space available for the tyres... Also can people leave a few susgestions on tires they would recommend..i want a good all round preforming tire. Thanks guys.
  5. i think there about £1100 a pair, think a section of the quarter panel has to be cut out but not to sure on that
  6. might be worth a try as mine is on its last legs ( windows steaming and hard to clear etc etc ) if i try this out after crimbo i'll post up the results, hopefully it'll be positive and anyone needing the matrix done from here on in might have a cheaper alternative, with maybe a heat output more like oe vs the demisterman unit
  7. just a quick question, has any one ever had there heater matrix re-cored rather than replacing the unit, the toyota unit is pretty pricey and the demisterman unit gets mixed reviews, so was just wondering of anyone has went down the re-core route, if so how feel has it faired out???
  8. I'm also in if the price is right....what price shipping to northern ireland?
  9. my ic cam with a bracket that screwed to the chassis and you then fixed the ac pipe to the bracket which lowered it bout 3 or 4 inches but it worked as planned....don't bend to much they tend to be very brittle and break easy.
  10. i had issues getting mine to fit beside the battery, it was to tight as an after market battery was larger than norm, i bolted mine up on the bottom of the rad bracket, it out of the road there too and its easy to access to check levels etc.

tested in the north mate...but the emissions on cars are more or less the same both sides of the border. my advise is make sure the car is well warmed up before you go in, less fuel been used when the car is at running temp, so should lower your nox and co etc.

    mine passed without both mate.
  13. If you run into the same prob as i did...let me know were u mount it mate.
  14. Maybe best getting a bottle mate as the system can draw back from the bottle when needed also.
  15. Yeah d rad ovrflow...when you fit a fmic the stock bottle has to be removed
  16. Yours must be diff that mine mine mounts on a flat plate that slides up the side of the bottle...does your have fixing holes on the bottle itself.
  17. U must have one mate...its an overflow bottle to allow for the expansion of the engine cooling water...if you follow the little pipe beside your rad cap it will go to your expansion bottle.
  18. Did you use the mounting plate supplied mate an jus bolt it in place threw a hole on the cross member or front panel?
  19. Seems my battery is also to big as to even get the expansion bottle in place is a struggle even without the light in place.
  20. Guys Just finished up fitting my fmic tonight..everything went pretty as expected..but when i fitting the new small expansion bottle in place between the battery and wing..the lh headlight will not fit now as the expansion bottle is fouling of the outter bulb and both headlight studs...has anyone come across this problem before and have an alternative mounting place for the bottle or know an easy fix for this problem..any help would be great. Chris.
