Alright fellas, good news (well it is for me). Dude's very kindly given the car a quick glance, and gearbox/clutch is fine. And hopefully on my next visit to AFR tuning everything else will be perfect. cars got no mods except blitz intercooler, blitz stainless steel exhaust, apexi induction kit... No decat, boost controller isn't even connected correctly.

Hey guys, sorry for no update. Been extremely busy. I'm popping down to see dude at his place tomorrow and hopefully get some more insight on the car. I guess if all goes well I should be letting all know how it goes, thanks for the help so far

That's the exact one I'm after, but as you mentioned if it's fake you can refund. (like the above poster mentioned only if it claims to be real....) But bare in mind, refund: you must send back item (your total loss will be p&p price) then you recieve your money. And yes... Too cheap, if it sounds too good to be true it probably is.

Cars from pistonheads. I can't find anything under the carpet and it's too dark for photos. Any other ideas??

I feel I've jumped ahead of myself pushing through to ecu without solving previously stated probs. What kit would cover everything? The hks fcon v pro looks pretty good. And please correct me if I'm wrong, do these ecu's cone with normal drive settings and race settings? E.g I'm driving to work economicly then I push a button and I'm able to fly off?

I do agree but the company I mentioned are official hks dealers with mapping ability. I'll ask the people you mentioned also. What's the av price for properly done mapping?

Will definately contact them, but most of the work on the car had been professionally done by Wincanton motorsport. So I'll see which price suits me best then choose. I'm in the process of emailing back and forth with the wincanton people

Hmmm depression sinks in now.. Lol ok i'm going to have all the other rubbish sorted with car first then upgrade to a fcon v pro or greddy e-Manage ultimate. But like I said, first things first. 1- tighten bolts 2- install a good quality electronic converter (possibly Thor) 3- replace gearbox oil 4- upgrade to a good ecu such as stated above how's it sound?

Ok carpet thingy I'll do when I get off work. But lol! Tell me what I'm looking for so it's easier! As for the fcon removal, as I'm already looking to upgrade both boost controller & fuel controller would it be a simple take out the old and plug in the new? I'm having some major work done soon, just need some time to save a few £.

Ive sent the picture hope it helps you in helping me... If that makes sense. Jeez, I'm ok with everything as nothing seems too expensive/difficult to fix apart from the oily exhaust

Apexi fcon qn/dc never had enough chance to floor it long so wouldn't know how high guage reaches. Mpg:? I'm unsure! Full tanked (£78) super unleaded.... Hardly drove and I'm half tanked!!! But I think the ditzy girlfriend fiddled with the trip buttons as it's Reading was reset. I'll calculate tomorrow.

No guages apart from boost controller. Cars mods: full bpu with fcon management system. Again, I'm unsure of smoke, nothing struck my eye as abnormal. Seems smoke dissappeared after warm up, oil was all over the inside of exhaust & yes petrol consumption is very high. Don't stress, a pint coming your way too. Added: I have an aftermarket stainless steel exhaust, boost guage reads at between -400&-500 and ups from 0 when I floor it

So far so good, all "problems" I have a cure for weather diy or expert touch.... EXCEPT my major concern... Black oily substance located on the inside of my exhaust.... Hmmm any suggestions
