  1. This seems to be the type of one that I am after Jackso. Any idea of the model you have as may just go straight online and get one. The one I have currently just seems very standard. Locks, sets alarm and immobiliser all at the same time which is great.....except for those summer days when you just want to leave the roof off and lock it.
  2. Hi Guys, New to the forum and to the Supra owners club. I have a query surrounding the alarm system on my recently purchased Aero. It seems that when I have the roof off and park up, activate the alarm/central locking that the car alarm will go off after a very short time (I assume this is due to the fact the roof is missing) Is there anyway to change the sensor setting on the current one or can anybody recommend an alternative alram/immobiliser syatem for the Aero. Thanks in advance guys and look forward to meeting some of you at upcoming events in the South. Paul
  3. Hi Shane, thanks for the info. So I just send of the export slip off to the DVLA and leave the rest of the V5 in the glove box, sound about right?
  4. I assume that was a tongue in cheek comment.
  5. hi guys my friend is interested in purchasing my car but he lives in Malta. His sister is coming to view the car tonight and if she thinks he will like it, she will pay for it there and then in cash. My query is as follows. On the V5/logbook which part am I required to fill in? I assume I (as the seller) would sign the part of the logbook that says the car is being permanently exported, and then send this slip off to the DVLA? Do I then give the rest of the logbook to the new owner? Does anybody have any experience about selling car privately abroad, and how to deal with DVLA paperwork? ANy info will be greatly appreciated. Cheers.
  6. Cheers guys, now ordered my 'Chav mod'
  7. Hi peeps, Does anyone know where I can get hold of one of these? I have a link to Ebay where I can order them from Aus but at £13 it seems a tad pricey as its only essentially a sticker. (See link attached) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Toyota-JZA80-TRD-SUPRA-Turbo-Glowing-Brakelight-Overlay-/220586560677?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM Anyone know where I can pick one up for less? If not ill just have to pay it as I like the look of it regardless. Cheers, Chappell-Face!
  8. Cheers for the advice Piston. I'll be sure to measure the space b4 purchase then just to be sure. I'd rather go for the flush finish so if it requires a bit of drilling then so be it!
  9. Piston Yours is the look I am going for, and may I say they look sweeeeet! Thats it you've made my mind up, its off to Ebay to place my order with Greg at the Tuning Shop for the whole set. (Dials, Air vents, Cigarette Lighter etc.) Also Piston....I see you have removed your stereo. Mine has a single din stereo in at the moment with a large space underneath, I assume you have a double din system? If so did you fit this yourself and did it just fit right in or did it require a bit of effort/trim to be removed? As im looking at upgrading my headunit to a double din with Sat-Nav/DVD/7" monitor but dont wanna splash out if it wont fit. Thanks in advance for any info guys.
  10. Hi Piston, these are the ones I have seen I have watched the videos also but they only show how to install on a dash when the old ones have already been removed. I just wanted to make sure these old ones just pop off with a little elbow grease and arent bolted/screwed on somewhere before I undertook the work. Thanks for the feedback guys......p.s this forum is awesome!!!!! Hope to meet some of you guys soon.
  11. Hi Guys, im new so be gentle Does anyone know how easy/complicated it is to replace the chrome rings around the speedo/rev counter/petrol gauge etc? I have found a nice set on (G)bay as one of mine has discoloured/rusted. If this has already been posted elswhere I apologise but I couldnt find it using the ''search feature.'' Any assistance would be Supra!! /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_grin.gif Thanks in advance. Chappell-Face!
  12. Hi guys, Thanks for the welcome. The car is nice and tidy and apparently has some football history attached to it. It was purchased in Basingstoke from alady owned who purchased it from its original ''Importer'' Kit Symons. Former Portsmouth player.....rather nice I thought. Probably paid too much for it in truth but it was a nice example. Had seen a few dodgey looking ones going for much more in the High Wycombe area. A few weekends were wasted up there I must admit!
  13. Hi guys, New to the site - recently purchased my 1st Supra (of many I hope.) I went for a 1994 NA Aerotop in white. Attached (If done correctly!) /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_grin.gif Im hoping to build up a few years no claims on this then upgrade to the TT at a later date. supra.doc

1994 White NA Aero - Auto

My first Supra. http://img32.imageshack.us/img32/9681/img0037vu.jpg http://img823.imageshack.us/img823/6629/img0038zb.jpg http://img855.imageshack.us/img855/678/img0040wn.jpg http://img39.imageshack.us/img39/866/img0041daw.jpg http://img690.imageshack.us/img690/5549/img0042sp.jpg http://img706.imageshack.us/img706/8965/img0043rf.jpg http://img17.imageshack.us/img17/6818/img0055yyh.jpg http://img859.imageshack.us/img859/3572/img0054fw.jpg http://img849.imageshack.us/img849/852/img0050i.jpg http://img8.imageshack.us/img8/1863/img0048by.jpg http://img109.imageshack.us/img109/9067/img0057pf.jpg http://img822.imageshack.us/img822/1604/img0046ob.jpg She’s truly got that head turning quality about her, whether it's her throaty exhaust, her thundering engine, the rumbling beat from the sound system or just the pure beauty of her unique sexy curves, that gets her noticed. I really don't know, but what I can be sure of is she's made me a very happy and proud owner. I made the most of this summer by driving around with her roof off, laping up all those lovely rays. Enjoying all the thrilling cornering power she has to offer. Her bodywork is unblemished and she has a well-kept interior. As well as all the standard features you would expect you will also find: - 18" 5 spoke silver racing alloys with massive polished lip and low(ish) profile tyres. Full body kit, with front splitter, side skirts, rear spoiler and spats, which efficiently improves aerodynamics, as well as improving overall appearance. Big bore sports stainless steel exhaust, for that spine tingling deep burble. Induction Kit, providing a little bit of extra power, extra torque and improved throttle. Naturally aspirated. FTW! Carbon effect dash panels and a JVC Double Din headunit with Ipod/bluetooth functionality. Also I have boxed - (JVC EXAD KD-AVX1 CD/DVD/MP3/WMA/DAB with a 3 inch full colour TFT monitor, which can be used as a rear-view camera, simple to watch you films or navigate the player using the GUI menu. Comes complete with built-in premium speaker system, remote control and removable front plate.) Clifford 650 Mk2 - ideal for the Aero with added remote start feature for those cold winter mornings. Tinted electric windows, additional provision for security and privacy, whist deflecting the suns glare and adding to her overall appearance. Thanks for looking.
