I've been following him on Facebook to regards with this build. He has a Vblog on the build too.

I think like everyone else we all have a soft spot for the R34GTR. But when I do the comparison between the Supra and R34, it came down to the curves of the Supra and also the interior is way better than the R34. I love how the dash wraps around the driver in the Supra.

If I could own both, I would but I wouldn't sell the Supra to get a R34

I went for this one, only £25 from halfords so not expensive, been using it for well over a year and had no problems

My dad has that one but his one stopped working after a year but i guess its like anything. Anything can break or stop working at any time.

This one works absolutely fine as a trickle charger, quite sophisticated for the price too, samples and charges as required and unlike many others on the market it still uses a transformer, rather than a switch mode PSU.

Just wondering what are poeple using for keeping there battery topped up when not using there car?

Does the brand of the charger makes any difference or should i just go and buy a halfords one?

540cc won't do you for a single turbo. Are you building this on a severe budget? If so, I would advise against it.

What Scott said. What BHP are you planning on running if you go single?

540CC injectors would probably see you are 450bhp or a little more but you dont want the injectors to max out.

If you tell people your power goal we should be able to advise you on what size injectors to get.

Another +1 for the Greddy Profec OLED. Im using its simple and clear, there's also alot of extra's which you can play around with.

That's when I had no idea what I am doing and new to the scene and being in the forum since 2010 has gave me the knowledge I need to go single which I did last year.

But to be fair I still dont really know what I am doing This forum is a really good place to learn about the Supra's and the 2JZ GTE/GE engines

True, however it allowed me to do it in my time with spreading the cost. Thats why I was considering engine swap. Was trying to get in touch with Keron(apparently he is the right man for the job) but at the moment no success, he may be very busy or holiday etc. If I would get quote from him that would be helpful or maybe there is somebody else on the forum who does it as well?

He can be very busy. Did you try ringing him? I think the going rate is around £2500 - 3000 for engine swap but If you speak to Keron he may be able to confirm that.

I've always got through when I ring but PM's, he can be slow sometimes

Many thanks for the kind offer. I do actually have it available to me through work, I've just never bothered to install it lol. It's funny as I curse myself for not installing it everytime I want to use it but as soon as I'm finished the task I forget about it again

I sorry to hear this, truly a sad time and worst case scenario.

I would honest keep the running gears, engine and etc and reshell it, you know if you break it/sold it. You will be back in a Supra.

Its either break the car and buy a finished single build Supra or transfers what you build into another shell, this way your work is not all in vain.
