  1. Just thought id get some opinions on the below wheels im toying with getting for the Supra. Its Silver and have a hard choise of: http://wheelsworldwide.co.uk/wheels/asa/ar1_rs/bpfbl or..... http://www.rarerims.co.uk/images/Cat/small_gtlm_hyper_black_19x10_angle.jpg Both are similar price and to me both would look good..... i had the Rota's on my GTR and was more than happy, but not sure on the quality of the others. Anyone bought those brand of wheels before? any feedback? They would both be 19" and pushed slightly out of the arch at the back on a stretched tyre (nothing too OTT though, maybe a 255 tyre on a 275 wheel) Simon

    my new car

so I went to pick up the new whip earlier this morning.... set off from Bristol last night by train to Blackburn to pick up Bazza's old N/A from Caraig who had bought it from him..... went over the car and must say its in damn good nick!!! Gearbox feels strong, no rattle or anything from anywhere (apart from the front cat is in need of replacment, tends to rattle sometime but thats already planned to be sorted asap) on the way home. Am about to order an Apexi air filter, 1st de-cat (2nd already on there) and a whifbitz carbon fibre front splitter...... if they'd of answered their phone it would of already been ordered but no worries can always do this Monday now. Need to also take her to my mates spray/body repair shop as theres some small bubble rust on the back arch and also the laquer (sp) has come away a bit on the passdenger door (although i cant see it, not the best of days though to look hard) but i do have a thing about making sure my cars are in mint condition so when the above is done, it will be IMO. I also plan to buy some Rota GTLM VIP alloys in Hyper Black, 19" but am needing to work out the correct size spacers so i can have stretched tyres on. Nothing too aggressive, maybe 255's on a 275 wheel at the back, and need to sort the front out. I hope to order them in the next week or so. It was a pleasure picking the car up and buying it from Craig, everything covered and all done fairly quickly with a nice drive home..... its obv not as quick as my old GTR but the fuel ecconomy is an improvement!! lol. Once ive put on the air filter and splitter i`ll get some pics up to show you what shes looking like, unless i wait til the new wheels are on.... have to see what the weathers like lol
  3. Thanks for the welcome guys..... anyone for swapsies? lol Ive actually had an enquiry from a guy who has a N/A supra, just waiting to get their spec list & pics..... i have to say that even though i`ll be sad to see the car go (when she finally does) its always exciting getting a new car, working out how it handles etc etc. Can i ask, is there enough power in an N/A to kick the back out or isnt that generally done with N/A's? Im not sure how sluggish they might be?
  4. Hey Bob, I was thinking of a TT, but i have to be fairly econnical for the time being so need a cheaper car plus cash..... then when my job fortunes go up again i can work on the car as a project..... so was thinking of an N/A at first, to then put a new engine in it at a later date, was thinking something of a one off like a RS4 engine or XKR. Not jap but i do love the sound of them both, would just need to decide on how much money it would cost to put in both, and if i could somehow house the 4WD system of a RS4 engine.... all things i can look into at the right time. As for pics and details of my car for sale, wasnt sure about putting anything up incase i broke any forum rules as i couldnt post a thread in the classifieds, but heres a link to my for sale thread on GTROC. http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/131484-1995-r33-gtr-midnight-purple.html If there is any interest from anyone on here, then i'd be happy to hear from you
